    Default In A Slump

It seems that for the whole month of April I have been in a slump. I have been dancing for two years, and the club I work at now I really like. But I just can't seem to make any money. I thought maybe I needed a change of scenery, so I tried some other clubs, and that didn't help either. I go to work every day so optomistic, but once I get there It's like I almost forget what I went there for, and end up wasting the night making not very much money. I used to be so good at my job. If anyone has any ideas how I can get out of this slump, and back to making money let me know.

That totally sucks... I have had that before only mine was a little longer than a month. For some reason, I wasnt making GREAT money (only average) and decided I HAD to change that. (I have an apt, a car, and bills) Soooo..
I started picking out hot outfits, and getting music that I really felt and enjoyed. I pumped it in my house right before work and would always feel "good" before work. When you get to work and you feel that way, you will project that to the guys there. Not only that, maybe you can change some things like your stage routine, or being different during lapdances... (more seductive as opposed to "mechanical") Ya know what I mean?

Sometimes its NOT you, and just the clubs. LOTS of clubs are crappy right now, so dont take it personal. Good luck

I agree with Lexi, summer time is not great for most clubs. The whole scene is in a bit of a slump. And yes changing your moves, clothes and music can do wonders. Make it new and exciting again. Kinda like renewing the spark in a long time relationship.

Also, make sure you are not getting caught up in the "I'm not making any money, this sucks" attitude that other dancers around you might have. And keep smiling even if you don't feel like it. The more you smile the better you will feel.

In most areas of the US summer is slow for this industry. It is a great time to try out new things. Don't be afraid to take time off from dancing- it is always there if you need it

Definitely take some time off. Everybody does better in this business when they feel fresh. And in that time, take time to assess your life, career and goals....

It's also possible that the 'game has changed' at your club without you noticing it. When business gets slow, there will always be a few dancers who will up the ante in regard to customer contact in order to attract a bigger share of the money that club customers are still spending. Between word of mouth and customer strip club website postings, it doesn't take long for customers to figure out which dancers are the most likely to provide greater 'bang for the buck' in a particular club. Thus you yourself may be doing exactly the same things you were doing a year ago or two years ago, but today fewer customers will 'buy' what you are offering when there are other dancers who are offering them 'more'.

Maybe you just need to take some time off to recharge. It's possible you might be burnt out.

sex is always good too. i mean if you have sex with someone you like the night before, you have a good glow the next day and it makes you look happy whether you want to be there or not. it happened to me once last week and the next day i went in and made money
