Default Credit Repair E-book

I have noticed a lot of questions about credit and credit score. I have a credit repair e-book for sale on ebay that provides all the information and sample letters to remove negative information from credit reports. This is a 74 page e-book that provides over 30 sample letters and all information necessary to recieve, review and remove negative credit information.

great, except that unless it is truely an error, you CANNOT remove anything from your credit report. For example, if you cut a check on time to a creditor, and they recieve it on time, but still report you as a late pay, you can provide proof of your on time payment to the credit agencies, and they MAY remove it from your report.

If you make a bona fide late pay, or have a repo, etc, you CANNOT get it permanently removed. period. full stop. end of story.

even a bankruptcy will not remove it.

    sorry.

That's BS. Give me your e-mail address and I e-mail you copies letters I go from the credit reporting agencies reflecting the 26 accounts I had removed. BTW, all of the accounts were mine, and now they are all gone. I used the laws afforded to me in the fair credit reporting act to beat the system.

I work in the finance/credit industry. You CANNOT remove derogetory credit permenantly if it was correct. If it is erronous info, then yeah, you MIGHT get it removed. If it was real, like you blew off a debt, then there is no way in hell. Creditors send a transcript of your payment history to one or all of the credit agencies. Sometimes every month, sometimes quarterly, sometimes randomly. You can get stuff removed, but the next time a creditor reports, bang! It's right back on. I have seen fixed credit from credit repair agencies, attorneys, and by private firms, and WITHOUT EXCEPTION, the bad credit was back on their reports in less than 12 months. I suggest you pull your report and see what appears.

Scorpio, to be fair to him, he is right sorta. I had 6 debts removed off my credit report and my credit score as well. After 7yrs, they legally have to be removed off of your credit history, wether it be score or report. I didn't know if you guys knew that or not.

    SCORPIO

I disputed the accounts with the credit reporting agencies AND the creditors as well. By law, creditors must provide a written agreement that one indeed has an obligation with them. If this original contract is not provided, the account, by law, is null and void and must be removed. I simply exercised my rights afforded to me by the Fair Credit Reporting Act and won.

Additionally, if the account was already investigated by the credit reporting agency and the creditor re-reports it, simply notify the credit reporting agency that the account was already investigated and deemed false. They will be happy to correct it and even put a block on that account number to prevent it from reappearing - if you ask them. This is another law afforded to us by the Fair Credit Reporting Act becasue as you said that is all computer generated so sometimes a human needs to step in and correct the computers.

There are over 30 sample letters in my e-book, and full explainations of all credit reporting practices if you would like to learn how the laws really work.

I can understand why this angers you if you work in the CREDIT?FINANCE industry, but the fact is that the laws granted to us, the consumer, are very much on our side and we have the advantage when it cames to what is on our credit reports. I am 100% confident that I can get ANYTHING off any credit report. Here's why. I have an account with you - I dispute that account with the credit reporting agency - 50% chance it will be removed - next - I dispute it with you and make you verify account with original contract - there's a 50% chance you will not furnish that document, (I have never seen a company furnish the original contract if an account is over 2 years old)but even if you do I will still take you to court in MY town and make you prove that I opened that account with you which unless it is a ton of money you WILL NOT SHOW IN COURT BECAUE YOUR LAWYERS COST TOO MUCH MONEY and I will win by default EVERY TIME. Like I said, the law is in our advantage. There is more too, that's just the beginning. I can remove anything from any credit report. Guarnteed.

PS- Sometimes to speed up the process i tell clients to settle accounts out at 10-25 cents on the dollar, with the contingency in writing that the account will be marked PAID AS AGREED or Paid/never Late. If the companies say no tell them fine I will just go bankrupt and you will get nothing. This will change their minds real quick. OR you can save this for a last ditch effort for the rare chance they show up in court and prove thier case (i've never seen them appear). NEVER NEVER NEVER pay a collection account in FULL or pay it without a letter stating that your account will be marked "PAYS AS AGREED" or "PAID NEVER LATE" you will be throwing your money out the window.

I hope you are right about your skills Ryan. If you are, then I need your services, because I have TONS of clients who need it. I have had them use attorneys, credit repair agencies, doing exactly what you did, and not one has ever worked for longer than 12 months. I have seen this HUNDREDS of times. In fact, Id did it myself, and all the creditors, without fail, disputed the claim or proved the debt was legit within the time allowed by law. Kitana was right. After 7 years, they have to remove it, and it the account really is falsly negative, they have to remove it. If it a LEGITAMITE debt, they will not. Im serious Ryan, if you really can do this, you will be my bestest friend in the world!

Scorpio, all the other credit "repair" companies do is just dispute your account with the creditors and hope for the best. I go WAY deeper than that and have a whole system to remove the debt using one of many techniques until the problem is solved. I am very awary that if even if it does come off the creditors can reinsert it IF it is not done properly. There is a whole system to credit repair, and it is a long process.

If the debt is LEGITIMATE it can still be removed or even corrected to refleft positively on your credit profile, which is even better. Scorpio, I sugggest you check out my e-book on ebay and check my feedback and see what others are saying about this VERY powerful information.

My fiancee owned a credit trepair company for 8 years.

Disputing info from credit reports works if the account is charged off and the creditor and collection agency it was assigned to have purged the info from their files.

Generally an account need to be 4-5 years old for that to happen and the best chances of that happening occur if a person stopped paying their bills, moved and had no home or job contact info.

Then this debt will be deemed "uncollectable " sooner by many creditors and if a dispute letter arrives the account is no longer on the books, thus removed.

If a person has verifiable negative info, a new credit file needs to be set up which if set up properly will not cross refence any past credit history. You are a new person and if you have a friend or family member add you on a current established credit card (preferably 2-3) with your new file data as a JOINT APPLICANT, you now have established clean credit and can move forward.

One of those 2 methods works. New file for those where 100% of blemishes can't be removed, or disputes for older info that is not still being reported to the bureaus but is not 6 years and nine months old (10 years for bankruptcies).

There are books that tell you how to do it. The same name , different address and different # will start a new slate.

www.edenpress.com should still have a book that relates to ss's and will tell you how numbers are set up by age and state of issue. The number is only used on the credit report or for a bank account if needed, not for anything else in life.

Tina, I have a technique to remove accounts that have been verified. What I do is this: I simply take the matter to small claims court on the grounds that the company in question it reporting information that does not belong to me. 99% of the time the company will NOT show up in court and I will win by default. I send the paperwork into the credit reporting agencies stating I took the matter to court and won. By law, the account must be removed from my credit file.

If they do show up in court and prove thier case(I have never seen this) simply negotiate a settlement for 10-30% of the amount owed. If they say "NO" tell them you will file for bankrurtcy and they will get nothing. Make sure you have a contract in writing that they will report the account as "piad in full/never late" This is very important becasue if you do not do this, the account will still reflect poorly on your credit file.

This method works. I had to do this myself for a judgment I had from an old account with Capital One. I took the account to court and won by default be casue the Attorney's Office whou bought out the account and filed the judgment never showed in court. I sent the letter to Equifax, Experian and TransUnion and they removed the judgment.

IF the Attorney did show up and proved thier case by providing a contract that I did have an obligation with Capital One, I would have offered a settlement offer to them on the spot for no more than 30% of the original debt. If they said "NO" I would have threatened bankruptcy. This will get their attention. I would only pay them if I had a written agreement that they would vacate the judgment and report my account as "PAID IN FULL".

This is a last resort though. First, like tine said - dispute the account with the credit reporting agencies. Then dispute the account with the creditor, demanding a signed contract bearing your signature. Keep copies of your letters and sent them registered mail, and keep the receipts, this way you have proof you sent them letters. If they don't respond after 2 letters send copies of the letters and the receipts to the credit reporting agencies. They will almost always remove the account in question.

This whole operation is time-consuming but like I said, ANYTHING can be removed from a credit report if you take the time.

Ryan that sounds a lot better than having to pay $$$ for an attorney only to have it appear back on your credit report 12 months later. You were lucky. My credit is exellent except for a verizon bill of $500 which isn't true but it's not important enough to waste time trying to remove it. Hope it disappear on it's own over time.

Well, each deroratory account lowers your credit score 30-50 points, so I would reccommend sending a letter to verizon to remove your account. If you want, tell me what state you are in and I will give you the address to sned the letter to - Shit I will e-mail you a copy of the dispute letter I sent to verizon myself, you can just copy it and send your own...

30-50 raise on your credit score will guarntee you lower interest rates..

    Hi Ryan,
I could really use your help. I just wasted money on a company that disputes records. I too have been a victim of verizon. I already had bad credit and had filed a bankruptcy without knowing that it stays on your record. And I got bad credit from my ex-boyfriend. Anyway, it's not fair and I was so happy to find this post. Why don't you have another auction? I would PM you my email but I don't know how to PM!
