I banged up my knee pretty bad at work last night and I don't want to wear a band-aid next time I work....nor do I want to wait for it to heal. So, I'm wondering if liquid band-aid is tough enough to hold up......anyone know??

Ive tried that thing and if you get it on your cut right away it stings JUST as bad as alcohol. It hurts like all hell. You can use it, although if you do floor work, it may start to peel off. Actually it may peel off just by the motion of bending and stuff, too. I liked it though. It kept off the nasty germs...
Did you use the band-aid brand or the liquid band-aid brand? I bought the liquid band aid brand once and holy crap that hurt!!!
Thanks Lexi![]()
BTW, nice butt.
Beware- it glows under the black lights!

I would want to put ANYTHING on my cut thats liquid. I just use regular band-aids. Wouldnt that stuff get into you bloodstream? Obviously the amount would be insignificant but still Im weirded out by liquid band-aids. And yes they glow under black light.
You think you know... but you have no idea!
Eh, that crap stings too much.

::blushing here:: Thanks hun. LOL
I dont remember which one I used. I used it at work cause a friend let me use it. And yes, it hurt like HELLLLLLLLLLL.
i used generic brand liquid bandage on a cut last week. yipes! that shit stings!i blew on that cut so much while applying the stuff, lol. but it has an antesepic (sp?) in it (which won't hurt you) it to keep the germs out and that's why it hurts. it's the short cut to putting alcohol on the cut before the bandage (after it's been washed and dried of course) it's worth getting so you don't have the sticky bandages on you. and comes in a tiny bottle that conviently fits into your bag or purse. and there are no risks of wrappers coming undone and making it useless unlike if a bandage gets unwrapped.
I've used it before and it was great for me. As others said it glows so put powder/concealer over it and keep going. If its in an area prone to bending/stretching, bend or flex the muscle or area and then apply the liquid bandage so it won't feel tight or peel later.

I go the band-aid brand liquid bandage and it didn't burn at all. The package says it will stay on until the skin sloughs off so that's fin by me.
Thanks for the tips DD
