Default self-tanner help, will be applying within a few hours

I feel really stupid asking this, like the answer might just be common sense, but this never occured to me before. Is it okay to put moisturizer on 45min to an hour after the sunless tanner application? Or is it better to wait a period of time like several hours or overnight.

    Thanks,
    Alexis

I'm sure it's fine to put lotion on. It helps to make sure your skin is really moisturized.

Wait at least 6-8 hrs. before showering, anything that will make you sweat, and all other body products that you put on your skin, because the chemical DHA, what makes you change color in self tanner, needs at least that long to set.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

Thank you. I decided to wait until morning to apply the moistureizer. I thought that there might have been problem with the tanning agent not working well or causing splotchiness if I moisturized to soon. So, thank you both for input.

I guess it's too late, but don't apply moisturizer until well after

a lot of tanners will heave stuff in them to make your skin feel good, so this shouldn't be a problem

    Emily
You know, I noticed this with my current tanner, and to a certain extant I was wondering if it wasn't allowing my skin to breathe. It always feels heavy until I shower, which is usually the next evening. Maybe the moisturzer was to much today. I was kind of playing around with the layering affect of shimmer it had.

    Thanks!
