oh i could go on for days. but ultimately, i dont really see the point in getting all prissy about what is punk and what is not. most of the stuff mentioned was new wave, some was hardcore, revco is members of ministry, 242, fini tribe, tuxedomoon etc and i always thought they were more an "industrial" band. blah. irrelevant.
it all comes down to being a purist. like we talked about last night....how often do you other dj types have a young girl ask you for "something cool and goth". i myself am thinking mission uk, sisters, bauhaus, etc. but you ALL KNOW damn well the "kids these days" mean type o, manson, zombie etc. which is just metal by guys in makeup or who have spooky voices and yadda yadda yadda. heh. i'm tired. time for a nap. carry on, folks and nice to meet ya.

Thank you...and pleased to meet you.

Incidentally, the new Ministry CD is pretty good, but I will post about it elsewhere than here, lol.

Romeo Void song is called 'Never Say Never'

and I think you were looking for NeuRo and Wave music.

    Try:
    Visage: Fade to Gray
    Fad Gadget: Back to Nature
    Gina X Performance: Nice Mover
Sisters of Mercy: No Time to Cry
    NoHo: Touch
    Secession: Fire Island
    Vicious Pink - Fetish
Reese - Rock to the Beat (it's early techno, but sexy as hell)
    Yello - Vicous Games
Revolting Cocks - No Devotion (is good... but I'd go for 2nd Ministry LP stuff like)
    Ministry - Over the Shoulder
    Ministry - Cold Life
    Ministry - Everyday is Halloween

and someone mentioned Berlin but how come no one mentioned:
    Berlin - Sex (I'm A)

also - this is not really new wave, but check out:
Sylvester - I Need Somebody to Love Tonight
about the sexiest song I know, even if it is about M2M love.)

If you like the wave sound... buy the CD by Metro Area... filled with nice instrumentals I could imagine a girl danicing to.

And if you want to get fired, check out:
Karen Finley - Tales of Taboo
