Just thought I'd let all you girls know how it went last night...
Simply put: It didn't go... :'( DAMMIT! haha
I went into the club at about 8 (when I got off my day job)and I talked to the bouncer a little bit, told him that I had called earlier about becoming a dancer yada yada yada... he called the club owner down who looked at my license and said "well we'd love to have another gorgeous lady like you on the team, so you're definately hired, but since you've never danced before, I'm afraid that you'll be required to work at least 3 day shifts before you can work a night."
*funny side note* when I told them that I would be a NEW dancer, the bouncer shouted off to the side lines "FRESH MEAT! Throw 'er to the tigers!" And all the guys started to hoot and cat-call. It was hilarious! I just smiled wide, and took a bow.
So I'll be going back on Saturday & Sunday to work a couple of day shifts first.
It was funny, the manager also re-affirmed what all you ladies were saying, he goes: "WOW! Are you sure you've never danced before? You're so prepared!* Anyway, I'm glad you're so enthused about it, and ready to get out there and get down to business. I'm sure you'll make a great addition."
After having already been to the club, and feeling the positive energy that radiated from all the patrons, and other dancers, I'm way more excited then nervous. Hearing that bumpin' music, and the whole sexy atmosphere just made me want to get out there an do it!!!
Love you ladies! Thanks for all the tips and advise!
Love,
Sarah a.k.a "Riley" <~~~~~~~~ good name?
* I had 3 bags with me! (sheesh) One for makeup and outfits, one for shoes, and one for miscellaneous stuff: babywipes, flatiron, sewing kit, hair stuff, etc. (ALL LOCKED SECURELY and none made of cloth or canvas, thank you ladies for the tips...)
