Maybe it's already been mentioned (I haven't read the whole thread, I'm lazy today ) but are there any black girls that do schoolgirl?? This is something that I have never seen before. I think because the original connotation is of white Catholic schoolgirls. I ask because at an impulse moment some months ago, I bought a tartan miniskirt from a local charity shop as I thought maybe I'd give the schoolgirl a shot (I know, I know, I always bash the look but I'm inclined to change my mind!). So whaddaya think? Anyway how I could spice it up to the audiences - the usual look is kinda old!! I'd like to present a twist to the look if it's possible; I don't want to actually look like a preteen. I have big boobs so would it throw the look off??

P.S. I like your idea playboy! Sounds hip, but I'm not sure I'm punk enough for that!! lol!

Use what you have. If your a cute little lolita, use it. Nothing is worse I'd imagine than trying to look sexy and having someone call you cute.

Thanks! Yeah, I played it that way r:, cause that's how I personally am able to pull it off. (I have a young looking face, but a very WOMANLY shape to me. ) Good luck to you! I haven't personally seen an african-american girl do the look, but I haven't been "in the game" that long and I think it's a good idea.

The school girl look works for some, others it doesn't. Like the idea of adding a twist (if done right) as playboycntrfold mentioned.

When girls do it right, they tend to have a busy schedue of lap dances after a stage routine since they differentiate themselves.

Some men love classy, opulently dressed women, while others love cute and casual girls. I feel that your success in portraying each of these looks depends on a number of factors such as your attitude, your club and the type of clientele you attract.

In my experience, you can appeal to 99.9% of patrons, even dressed as a little girl, if you keep a few things in mind. Keep your approach light hearted and cute, but carry yourself with enough maturity so that you will 'adult' enough for those men who want "a woman, not a little girl".

I also feel that 'Lolita Looks' work best in smaller club environments. Larger clubs generally try to give off a 'classy' vibe (gowns, plush decor, etc), and it can be hard to work the innocent/naughty, cute/sexy, nymphet angle when the feel of the club works against you.

For the first few months that I worked in my club I tried to present myself in a glamorous and sophisticated way. I wore satin and lace lingerie and diamonds and pearls. I swept my hair up into classy styles or wore glittering tiaras. While I looked absolutely beautiful, I was not earning to my full potential, and it was not until I decided to one day wear a cute little school uniform to work that I suddenly discovered my 'look'.

I realised that my bright and bubbly personality did not suit the mysterious and sexy look which I was trying to adopt. My body is far from voluptuous, so I look rather adolecent... when I dressed up in my velvet and furs I looked like a little girl playing dress ups.

Now I wear my hair in pig tails with little ribbons, dress in school girl outfits, gingham dresses, white cotton lingerie, cherry jewelry, white socks and stockings, white stilettos, ect. I am the only girl at my club to pull off this theme and it makes me very easily recognisable.

Give the Lolita look a go, and if it does not work for you within a few weeks (as with any new venture, you must give it time), simply explore another style until you find some thing that is 'yours'.
