become "a regular house girl"?
I really enjoyed Saphhire's post. It made me start to think about my current situation.
Although I have been dancing in a couple of LA,Ca clubs for over a year, I have been working in my current club since March, around four months.
I am certainly not the youngest and I have pretty much been polite and kept to myself and just introduce myself to the other house dancers. Most are cool. I don't really have the time to hang out outside the club to really get to know these girls, not to mention I commute from a different part of LA.
However, there is still about a handful of dancers, especially three of them, that will totally silence when I walk into the dressing room to work. One of them, just sits there and watches me get ready with a total frown on her face ??? I mean WTF?!! Oh, BTW, I work in a smallish neighborhood clubwith an average of 4 to 5 dancers a shift. Sometimes as little as three and as much as eight.
So, is this situation happening because I am still a "newbie" or is it the old adage that "not everyone is going to like you"?
Oh yeah, there have been dancers that have come and gone since I have been there, so they are newer than me. I adore our management. They give me the shifts I want and treat me with more respect than most clubs I have worked in, so I don't want to quit.
Any comments?
Cheers,
Corey

In all the other places and cities I ever worked, I never really had to be a bitch to survive a job.
