    Default stripper shoes...not the book!

I was just wondering if anyone has the same problem as me...when I put on the clear strap ones...it's hard to get them on because of the plastic stuff and my skin! Do these types of shoes eventually 'loosen up'...they are the right size and everything but the clear strap is seriously tight...

On plastic shoes, you can take a hair dryer (on the hottest setting) and hold it over the strap (while it's on your foot). The heat will help it stretch a bit and should help it feel better.

Or you can just wear the shoes around the house for a few hours a day...it'll stretch them that way, too.

I just started walking around in my shoes I bought two pairs and man I had that same issue but did the hair dryer thing and it does work.

I also clean my house in my shoes but at first I had to learn how to walk in them lol i was holding the wall it was funny!

I had this issue with my shoes. I bought a pair that felt like they fit fine in the store, but once I started wearing them around, they did the "strecthy" thing and soon they felt too big. So the next pair I bought, I bought a half size smaller, and although they felt EXTREMELY tight in the beginning, after wearing them around, they now fit PERFECTLY (best fitting pair of shoes I have)

When you buy shoes, they should feel tight. That way, when they do stretch they will still fit. Clear don't stretch as much as other shoes, but they will stretch some. Clear are also aways hard to get on. The clear strap doesn't give much at first. The blow dryer works best for those shoes. Other shoes can be stretched by placing a water balloon or ziplock bag filled with water in the toe of the shoe and then placing the shoes in the freezer. Sometimes it takes a couple times depending on how tight they are, but it will work. When the water freezes it expands and stretches the shoe. There I go, giving up my secrets again!!! Just kidding. I would tell anyone that bought shoes from me the same thing.

Gosh these are so old! If you are talking about shoes like these, the straps stretch quickly. At least on me they did. Also they have a slip through strap that makes it easier to adjust if it is too tight.
