Default Pathetic but true... tripping over my own clothes!

Okay, so I've been dancing for a few months, and have been expanding my wardrobe as far as costumes and outfits go. Well for some freakin reason, I keep losing my balance lately and don't feel graceful and seductive when taking them off... what the hell is wrong with me?!?! Any ideas where this sudden akwardness may have come from and how to cure it without feeling/looking like a complete clutz???

Don't worry, it happens to everyone. I suggest leaning on the pole while undressing, or starting to strip off clothes sexily, when on your knees or butt in front of customers at the edge of the stage (if allowed at your club.) It's just that your body is learning to balance in new and strange ways, on top of high plastic heels. Of course there will be problems. If you stumble, laugh it off, and make light of it. Men would rather see a dancer roll with it and keep going than a big show of self- consciousness.
I suggest light gowns with high leg slits- also, rolling the gown down gradually and then removing it in a neat little roll at your feet is loads better than dumping it in a pile.
