:undecided:
wow..

I, for one, am very glad that the club I go to can't serve alcohol! :o
"He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"
Something I've always recommended for clubs - make the drink prices cheaper. If I'm paying $6/beer, I will notice early and get annoyed. If I'm in a club with more reasonable prices, then I will drink more. It only takes a few for my wallet to start magically opening. It's a very basic concept. Perhaps I'm in the minority...I dunno.I, for one, am very glad that the club I go to can't serve alcohol!

This is old news.... something similiar was mentioned early on this month or last month. Regardless it was mentioned. No news to me.
Not to put a dampener... just thought that there are threads already devoted to this topic in the older pages.

rough crowd
Is it a big or expensive club with alot of dancers? Because if he'd payed for all 16 girls to go into the V.I.P. room for 10 hours at $400 an hour each where I work the bill is only $64,000 (unless my maths is out, lol - which is quite probable!)
Shit - wouldn't you be spewing if that happened to you!!! I've known customers to complain about the thousands they've spent over a period of years, but not all at once, lol!

I wonder how this will turn out???
Never been to scores, but im pretty sure they have video camera's everywhere.
In court,i belive these video's will prove them innocent, and this guy stayed way past his bedtime, and should have to pay the bill.
OR
They will show that the club basically mugged this guy.If this is the case,i say shut it down.It wasnt just the mgr in charge who is guilty,it was everyone in the building.
You cant tell me that someone was in a club, spending 100g's+ and everyone didnt know it.
My question is also how he got so much on his cards without a call in to verify from the card companies.
Not that it happens to me often(ok never has)but doesnt the card company require a voice verifacation after 10g's?and every 10 from there on,specially if its a few times in one night?
Thats just an awful lot of friggin money!!!!
I find the story hard to belive.
the entire staff,bartenders/waitresses/mgrs/etc didnt stop the ride?
the card companies didnt stop the ride,or even question it??
I have seen bartabs hit 100g's before, but they are soooooooooooooo rare, and always with a group, never just one guy.
I dont think its true.
if it is.....everyone involved basically rolled this guy,and should face charges as any mugger should.
I dont belive the story.
sorry, I didn't see the other post. Although, in all fairness to me, the earlier post may have been regarding an earlier, different, less costly incident () which involved a paltry $28,000 bill. This is old news.... something similiar was mentioned early on this month or last month. Regardless it was mentioned. No news to me.
Wow.. some girls banked that night eh?
But, quite honestly, if he signed the receipts he's liable. I don't think one can claim "mental drunken-ness" a reason to dispute a credit card transaction.. he asked for services, they rendered.

Right on Gynger. If you sign a receipts it is your responsibilty to deal with the bills. Drinking is not an excuse.
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
according to the law, yes you can. a credit card receipt is a contract. a contract requires a "meeting of the minds". one cannot have a "meeting of the minds" w/ a person whom they know or have reason to believe is drunk. if they served the guy a case of Cristal, they had reason to believe he was drunk.don't think one can claim "mental drunken-ness" a reason to dispute a credit card transaction..
anyway, i thought the guy didn't actually sign?

Goes to show that it's best to leave your credit and ATM cards at home, just bringing sufficient cash for cover, a couple of dances, drinks and tips then split![]()
gynger, that is one tiny kitten on your avatar. fits perfectly in the cleavage... lol![]()

Ugh - I hope the club wins over this jerkweed. It pisses me off to no end when people blame their utter irresponsibility on "Its not my fault, I was drunk". Well, WHO chose to get drunk, idiot??
When you get drunk, you lose capacity to think clearly and make rational decisions. Every adult in the world knows this. As far as I am concerned, anyone who starts getting tipsy (and its bullshit for anyone to say they didnt realize they were tipsy) and choses to continue to drink is culpable for all their actions afterwards.
The "hey its not my fault, I was drunk" doesnt fly in terms of responsibility when a drunk idiot crashes their car and kills someone. It shouldnt fly when someone blows over 100 grand at a strip club when they are drunk.

cmon people!!!!
$120.000+!!!!!!!!!!!
Its bullshit!
Even if he bought 3 cases of crystal and did lapdances till 4 am non stop, its still hard to belive he broke 100g's.Do the math, its not possible.
shit, how many clubs even carry 3 cases of crystal??
Not many!
even if the girls charged a drunk 2000 dollars for a lapdance, its still not possible for him to run up that kind of tab.
Unless of course, the club charged EVERYONES lapdance to his card, even then, its still not possible!
Holy Shit
If true he got screwed for sure as there is no way unless he was tipping the dancers 1000 a dance on his card but shit for that kinda cash in one night he could have called up the best escort company in the city and had 10 top of the line escorts in his room and gotten much much more mileage and it still wouldnt have been no where that expensive but scores always has had a reputation for overcharging and price gouging I for one would like to see them lose this one as the club that it once was is no more and in its place is a pathetic by comparison clone
