Default looking to move, NY, NJ, Philly, RI??

well, I've been thinking, last semester it really did hurt my grades to be working 3-4 nights a week - at work I'd make between $300-$600/week working those nights [usually one or two weeknights and the weekend]. I'd like to start working say, every other weekend, friday and saturday, at a bigger club. I don't mind traveling to one of the aforementioned, just so the income would be comparable [though I'd have to also figure in travel expensives and whatnot]. All of these places are about 3-4 hours away, Philly I could stay with my mom in Lancaster and get out of renting a room.
The club I'm at now seems to get annoyed at girls who don't want to work full time [I've heard the manager say about another girl "If she can't work more than two days a week what use is she??]" so I'd have to find somewhere not like that, somewhere that they'd be okay with a dancer only working every other weekend.
Contact isn't too big an issue, I already work moderately high contact, not a big deal.

I think I just need some perspective, there's so much stupidness going on at my club right now, which is probably at every club, but I need some different stupidness.

obviously, if you can avoid accomodation expenses by going to Philly, that's the initial plan to follow. But you're right that attempting to pop in and out on weekends may run afoul of many clubs, particularly in the NYC/NJ area. However, some clubs may be accomodating if the dancer is super hot and super reliable. Your best bet is to make a visit or two to Philly clubs and talk to the clubowners about your student weekend only situation.

Yeepie, Melonie, I'm really reliable [that's one of the reasons I was always working more than the weekends, they'd call and ask if I could work that night and most of the time I'd come in] but super hot?? I'm pretty.
Heh, if naught else perhaps I can just go to each and every club as it'll only be 8 times that I should be needing to do this!

LOL Luna.. I'd mark RI off the list. Most of us who live here spend most of our lives dying to get out.

Philly sounds like the best bet as you wont have to pay rent so that is my advice and some of those clubs in philly are hot and you can make serious bank

Lancaster is really far from philly....like over an hour and a half drive.

Hmm, my mom said it was about an hour and 15 minutes. but, either way, I figure for a reasonably priced motel I'm still gonna have to drive awhile, so might as well stay with family and get free meals and such.

Oh and its NOT dirty there...and It doesnt suck!!

All the topless clubs you have to wear pasties or latex and dances are medium milage.
The dirtyness might be the dancer...but deffinatly not the clubs.

You might try Club Risque in Bristol, it's clost to the turnpike so it would be an easy run from Lancaster, a lot easier than going downtown. You might also consider Gentleman's Gold Club in Baltimore, right off I-895 north of the tunnel, it's a really nice place unlike a lot of the Baltimore clubs and it's open both days and evenings if that matters and is very well run with lots of very nice girls who speak highly of the management. The Wagon Wheel nearby is another possibility if you don't mind high contact, good money there. I grew up near Lancaster, not much in the area is there. Don't bother checking out the clubs in Reading or Harrisburg, they're terrible. Some good clubs in the Poconos though if that interests you. There's also a really great club near the turnpike in western PA before you get to Pittsburgh. Send me a message if you want to know more.
