Default "Sweetest Sin" corny or cute?

I was thinking of using Jessica Simpson's "Sweetest Sin" as part of a set. Is this a really bad idea? The club plays all types of music, and the dj is really cool. Im not sure if it fits me (im definitly no ditzy blonde girl, in fact, bronze skinned blatina with copper hair--lol)

??? the song? good or bad ??? any costume suggestions?

I like it if you go all out and do a Jessica Simpson theme...Louis Vitton (sp?) bag, then when you're doing the stage show, you can seductively nibble on buffalo wings.

"Blatina"...that's one I haven't heard before! I'm partial to the term "Blacktalian" myself. Often used to describe popular R&B singer Mya. Cuz she's Black and Italian.

I'm not a huge fan of Ms. Simpson, but whether you use this song or not depends on your stage routine. If youre high-energy and do lots of pole tricks, it might not work. If you're into languidly rolling around and doing lots of sensual floorwork, then go for it.
"She has written so well, and marvellously well, that I was completely ashamed of myself as a writer...But this girl, who is to my knowledge very unpleasant and we might even say a high-grade bitch, can write rings around all of us who consider ourselves as writers"

Hmmm, Vuitton bag, huh? LOL Lestat.
Yeah NIna, I was thinking lots of floorwork, I cant do good poletricks yet anyway!! LOL. But I thought of wearing something kinda virginial looking-like something white & airy (since the song is about losing virginty--but none of the guys will get that but who cares!)

Kinda corny in my opinion........ but you could play up the little girl virgin theme and it may work...!>?

I worked with a very talented dancer named Destiny who could pull off this kind of stuff pretty much whenever she wanted. I actually played Britany Spears for her on occasion, which was the first and hopefully the last time I will have done so, lol...

Some dancers can make silly or hokey songs work, I don't know how--they just do it. Maybe they somehow communicate that it's all a joke, but a very sexy one, so keep your eyes on the stage. If you are that kind of dancer, and you want to try it, what the hell, why not?
