I was just curious and wondered that if anyone has started out at a crappy club and then moved up to a better club? Also, did you make bank at the crappy club because you had better skills/personality/better looks etc?

I never worked at a crappy club, but many girls start out that way to get experience. I know some of those girls actually made MORE at the smaller clubs because they don't have much hustling experienece. It just depends on you, your personality and your preferences.

I started at a smaller club when I began dancing. I decided to work there simply because I felt comfortable with the management and also knew 2 of the dancers. I eventually left that club and went to a larger, upscale club. I LOVE the club I work at now, but without having experienced the smaller club and so called "cutting my teeth" with a "safer" enviroment. I'd advise you to visit a few clubs and see which one fits YOU the best. Good luck girly!!!![]()
I started out at a crappy club. Was only there for a few weeks to get a "feel" of the stage. Nothing but a nightmare...and, no, I didn't make any money because it was an "anything goes if you don't tell" kind of place. Ick.
Now, I am at one of the top clubs. I love this club, too.

These are good answers ...I felt so stupid for even asking that question. I just asked becuz Im nervous about going to a really good club ....like cheetahs here in san diego.

Went to a real dive once. Talked to a dancer who was fairly stunning. She was cheerful and chatty. The drift of my side of the conversation was, "What the hell are you doing here? You could be making real money 20 minutes away."
I sometimes wonder about her. Seeing her at the club was like watching Nolan Ryan pitching sandlot ball.

Second tier clubs always draw second tier spenders. While a great looking hot dancer can earn more than average dancers in a second tier club, it usually doesn't compare to her earnings potential in a first tier club because customers coming in the door of second tier clubs simply aren't bringing in that much money to spend. Of course, some second tier club customers are willing to spend a great deal of money for 'extras', but if a dancer isn't willing to provide them and other dancers will, she's not going to earn much no matter how beautiful or talented she is.

So Melonie,
The "big fish in the small pond" effect doesn't come into play? That being that a first rate dancer in a second rate club might just kick butt $-wise?
Just a thought.
"He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"
