    Default Newhair prod:neutrogna trip. mois.

Hey all,!!! Tried this, Neutrogena triple moisture, silk touch leave in cream. For med-coarse/thick hair. Oops, it has glycerin. (takes out color, as does mineral oil.) But it softened my crunchy, dry, highlighted, plus sun bleached hair. Thought you'd like to know. They have other stuff in this line too.

I didn't know that glycerin was bad to use. I am familiar w/ mineral oil. Terrible ingredient. Just sits on the skin & does not allow it to breathe, basically suffocating it. It also causes breakouts.
My hair is very dry from coloring- is this one of your fave conditioners? I have tried so many different things, and nothing helps. Coconut oil actually makes it feel dryer, olive oil doesn't work. The expensive conditioners like Matrix, Kerastase etc. are ok. Anything that will truly help?

Oh Yea Whirlerz most of the creams that are made to stay on dry or thick hair seem to make my colour dull too. I think it's actually because these creams never really dry, and they grab crap out of the air onto our hair, makes it stay stuck to it until we wash it. We end up with that dull look. Great for pictures under very bright lights, not day wear it does not seem.

Glycerin? Hmmm good to know, i don't have a product with this in it, i just checked.

    Thanks for the heads up!

I have incredibly thick hair that had gotten VERY dried out from dying it... tried the Nuetrogena Triple Moisture shampoo and conditioner, and while I like it to occasionally use (once every week or 2), I don't always like the way it feels. I have found the Garnier Fructis Deep Conditioner and Biolage deep condtitioners to be much more effective. I stopped dying my hair and started using these once or twice a week and my hair is back to its old soft self.

Well, different thing work for diff. ppl. Sometimes, I have to change of too, which is why I keep a a couple conditioners around. Two I have, (a bit pricey) Nexxus Emergencee (which has some glygerin, but a good prod.) & Phytologic (not sure of spelling) Phytocitrus for color treated hair. a prod. containing shea butter, (enought to make a differ) is usually good. Shea is very moisturizing> I always read ingredients on back of bottle. Top listed ingredients are the highest per centage. By the way, once I mentioned Phytologic brand to my former hairdresser, the salon he worked at carried it, later he used it at his own place.

I've been using this salon brand stuff called HALO and it is THE BOMB!!!!!!!! My hair was so fucked up from coloring it and using heated tools, but this stuff is like gold in a bottle. I recommend it to EVERYONE! Smells great too and you only need to use the smallest amount of shampoo & conditioner so it lasts super long.

I get it from my salon and it is a new product, but when I get home today I'll do a little research on it for you.

Gosh i have tried sooo many over the years. But my hair LOVES Neutrogena products the best!

They are made for all hair care needs, i have had no problem going dull or brassy. Smell i don't care about, less damage on my hair is what i care about, because shampoo is made to clean, so some have been very harsh on my hair.

Being very blonde, i need a good shampoo, and conditioner.

me too babe, and I SWEAR by this stuff. I guess it from the Graham Webb line, which is a great line too. I use their shine serum. Also try Nolita's line of products. Worth every penny!
