I can't really answer yes or no because unless I am working out or traveling in the middle of the night I usually have full make up on.
I think every girl looks better in make up, but if it is worn too thick it makes one look cheap.
yes
no

I know strippers who wear club make-up even when they are not working. How gay is that? Models, actresses okay but during our "normal day to day life" come on now. I think some strippers are full of themselves to the point they are vain and shallow!![]()

At work, I wear "a lot" of makeup but it's very natural looking. I don't like my freckles to stand out too much so I apply foundation. If I'm not working, I usually just do mascara and some gel blush and a little gloss (have to have mascara, blonde eyelashes) and that's it. The only two things I add for "work" are eyeshadow and foundation and they change my look completely.
I wear make up , but guys are always complimenting on me not wearing a lot. so i guess i got the ''i didn't try look'' although i really do.........lol
I think make-up is important to play up on your good features and accentuate them because club-lighting is so dim. Natural make-up in a club and natural make-up on the street is very different. I wear gray and black eyshadow to play up my big green eyes and customers still say im a natural kind-a-girl. Choosing what you accentuate is key here; if you have big, overwhelming hair, dont do so much make-up. Or if you body is like Bam!! with your DD's you probably dont need that pile of blue eyeshadow. I see too many girls wasting way too much time on big hair, big cleavage, crazy body shimmer, big eyes, crazy costumes with a lot of accesories and the result looks very fake, all you see are the "add-ons" not the person.
The first idea is always the best idea.
The fake pony tail thing has to go. I hate the way the girls in my club do it at least. You have to look natraul, I agree.............![]()

I think the last thing male customers are looking at is your eyeliner. Only females check that shit out.

I always do the glamorous look with my eyes. My eyebrows have a defined high arch and there's a good bit of space between my lash line and my brow. I also have brown eyes so going glamorous doesn't look trashy. I usually go with onyx or dark purple with a frosty light purple smudge under the lower lash. I get compliments all the time from customers and I've even had other dancers want me to do their eyes. I think it depends on your natural look too.
there are a couple times that i have stopped a mac before work and made lots of money that night. maybe it was a confidence booster or the fact that i spent $40 to get it done.
but the other day i had to go on stage with just the beginning stages of my make up. foundation and coverup and i did alright.
i don't wear to much makeup, but when i am home i don't where any at all. it makes me feel more in the mood and look more than 16. i have a young face (that i don't mind) but im turning 25 in oct and want to look at least legal
I think the problem with some dancers is they feel more is better, and apply make-up wrong perhaps. I have seen this alot, one eye smudged for example. Lipstick on teeth...Yuk.
I don't know how you ladies do it, i sweat, and make-up (foundation) gets wet, smears, so i stopped with the make-up thing many years ago. I wear pink lipstick, gloss over it, mascara, and a touch of brown eyeliner on my eyes. No shadow, blush or foundation, i could never keep it on.
But dancing does make my face glow, so i guess that helps.

I wear alot of makeup and liner. I love my mac and vamp my eyes . I find the men love it and im told all the time i have bedroom eyes. There are guys that might prefer more of the natural look thats ok but not me. I have long blonde wigs brunette wigs love fake lashes and the makeup is the topping on the cake.
. Makeup accentuates your face, there is nothing wrong with it. Generally speaking it does look better (more put together)
However, nobody likes a clown face.
I dont even understand why you care so much about other women wearing makeup?
I usually go into the club sans-makeup; applying it chills me out before I go out on the floor, so cringe away Big D.
Some nights I'll do the smoky porn-star eyes and false lashes and others more natural light shimmery brown shadow. Even the "natural" look is way more than almost anyone would wear out, since we have to adjust it for the club lighting!
My money is very satisfactory over all, regardless of how extreme my hair and makeup is. Regardless of whether I wear a ton of makeup, I always make sure to look polished. Clean, pretty outfits, nice hair, moisturize. Nails are't always polished, but always neat and clean.
Overall presentation and attitude usually counts much more than how much mascara you wear.

When I was in my slump, one of the things I changed was my makeup. I started wearing less, and I got more "you're so pretty" compliments, and more attention. I've just been wearing mascara, blush and tinted gloss. It seems like the more makeup I wear, the less I make. It seems. I have always been told that I don't need makeup. But for pictures and video cameras and large stages, it's a must. Maybe no one (including myself) has ever been able to apply it with techniques and colors that flatter me. Wish I knew how to apply it better and the right colors, 'cause makeup is so fun!
Yes, wear make up to cover flaws (and everybody has them!). I think it shows in your personality when you know you look presentable

less is more i think. if you don't need it, dont use it. i love sheer shimmery stuff. sexy & sweet!

I've been told by the make-up artist at my new club that I am one of the few lucky ones out there that looks good with minimal make-up or alot.
At this new club, I'm thinking more make-up would work for me due to it being a classy, elegant 'gown/long dress' club.... wearing minimal make-up doesn't add to a glamourous image (as such).

I wear a good deal, but I think it looks balanced. Concealer and foundation, I've got zits and dark circle eyes, sorry. I'll experiment with different shades of lipstick, finally going with darker over light. Trying darker eyes- black eyeliner has always worked well. Haven't gotten the hang of fake eyelashes yet, though. I think if just overall it looks good, go with it, if you think "ugggh, I look freakish" drop it.

i think it just depeds of the croud.. when i wore dark smokey eyemakeup i made a crap load of money.. the most i made in that club
I definitely have to wear some makeup, but a lot is probably not too good either.

Leanne, you are sooo pretty, you probably look polished either way!Originally Posted by LeanneCiccone link=board=9;threadid=11237;start=msg184681#msg184 681 date=1096513072
I wear a TON of cheap and higher end make up.
Yes I do the crazy black eyeliner, and ring around the lips and heavy gloss. It just works for me.
I want guys to get their moneys worth. If they want to see minimal make up, they can go to a regular bar or Wal Mart...
those girls pile it on too!Originally Posted by Marie Blanchard

Hell yeah they pile it on! Those chicks wear way more makeup than I do! I've had headshots done before, which require a lot of makeup, and all the makeup that lady put on my face was what these Wal-Mart and bar women wear for everyday! At my club, I seem to get approached more when I don't pile on the makeup. Maybe I look less intimidating, more like the girl next door. I do wish that a little more makeup at work meant more money for me, 'cause it's part of the fun of dressing up. And I love shopping for makeup--I'd rather shop for makeup than clothes.

You can wear a lot of makeup and still look natural. I think it's how you put on makeup, not how much. People seem to like the more sexy, fresh look compared to my goth vamp look. It's the same amount of makeup- the only difference is application and color choices.
A makeup applied well and appropriately looks good. It's the bad, heavy-handed makeup that people get turned off from.
