    Default Should i even try?

    Hey everyone!
Im new to be posting here, but i have been reading this forum for awhile now. I love the beauty tips and the view into the life of a stripper. I think every woman has a desire to be one a little bit.

I'm posting now because i have a question. I currently work at a bank. My coworker and i have been talking about getting a part time job as a waitress in a strip club. She is a beautiful size six and could be a dancer if she wanted. I on the other hand am a size 14 goth chick ( cant help it born with black hair pale skin and hazel eyes what else could i be lol ). I have large breats though dd's

I have been to a few strip clubs. I'll admit between the strippers and my bfs at the time i didnt pay much attention to the waitresses.

I am attractive in my own way. I'm just wondering with my size and all would it be worth applying at the average detroit area strip club? It would bug me ill admit if she got hired and i didnt. She is scared to work at one without someone she knows. So i dont want to start only to be disappointed as well as her.

Thanks for the forum it is an interesting read

If you feel sexy and you want to do it, then go for it! There are no preset standards on what is acceptable in a strip club, so long as you keep yourself well groomed and and like what you do. Good luck and keep us posted!!!!!

Absolutley. If you want to do it then go for it. All kinds of women are in this business. Men love variety and not everyone is a size 6. It also depends on how you carry your weight. Sounds like a lot of it is in your chest. There will be plenty of guys who like a more voluptous women with DD's. Every woman is sexy! Strut your stuff!

You did mention that you work at a bank. Just a little heads up, be careful with stripping on the side. No matter what your position at the bank you are still in a professional environment. If you are worried that you might lose your day job if anyone found out keep it under wraps and work at a club not too close by. Just a little look out there.

Haha, you all have to excuse me, but Vampy is a very good friend of mine from AOL.. Everyone treat her right.

Now.. Vampy.. You know that you're absolutely gorgeous. As already mentioned, Men love variety. If everyone looked the same, we would live in a very boring world.

Both you and your friend should definitely try your hand at waitressing. And who knows? You could be dancing very soon after that. You may decide that you feel comfortable enough to get up there. Waitressing is a great way to "get a feel" for the place.

As I've mentioned quite a few times on here, I started as a cocktail waitress, and got up on stage on a "dare". I was hooked immediately.

Keep us posted, especially me! And Welcome to SW officially. You'll love it here.

Should you even try? Well, you'll never know unless you try!

Later on in life, will you say to yourself, "I wonder what would have happened if I tried it just once"

well, i really suggest not going in to audition with your friend. you've got a better chance getting hired going in on your own. I know that stripping can be very intimidating for newbies especially when they don't know any of the girls. But honestly, you can't work with the mentality of being scared because you don't have any friends in the club.

If you two start working together, please keep in mind that periodic regrouping is ok. Walking around joined at the hip is not.

Go for it. Be advised, though, the business has been up and down lately (many different factors) so always look at it as extra money, not your bread and butter.
Re: looks- you'll do great. Very few dancers are model thin. It's all about attitude- you have to talk and hustle to make money, not sit around like an ornament.
You do need to prepare yourself to be exposed to some bad behavior on the part of some customers. Some dancers have snappy comebacks, others punch and slap. It's better to be levelheaded, you can get fired for injuring someone.
The goth look can work for you (I see your avatar) but not for everyone. I have exotic/tropical looks, so I play that up, and act sweeter than I really am in real life. It all depends on what you're willing to hide at work.

Thanks for the advice. I do apperciate it.

I have also been asking my guy friends for their thoughts. All the feed back has been positive. They gave me some ideas on where i should apply ( they just want to come visit me lol )

Rhiannon I love you girly !! Thanks

As far as bad behavior, you would be surprised what goes on at a bank lol. Granted we have security glass where i work. But we get alot of lude comments, asked out, cornered in the parkin lot , even followed sometimes, etc. So i have some experiance in that area. We arent allowed to just go off on em, so i have learned to be creative.

Right now im just looking for some fast extra cash. WAITRESSING seems like a good way lol I have no desire to strip right now.
Still got some things to work out. When i do try it ill let ya guys know how it goes !

Btw my avatar is my pic in case ya havent figured it out by now lol

You have to remember that men pay for confidence...a confident woman is super sexy as opposed to a beautiful woman who walks around needing to be coddled. The men have to deal with that from their everyday women (does this dress make my butt look big?) so it's nice that they can go into the club and have a nice evening watching a bunch of beautiful women who ooze confidence.

And, of COURSE you should not TRY...just do it. I would, again, caution you if you work at a bank full-time. Being a stripper would most likely bring the head tomato down screaming. A waitressing job most likely would not have the same effect on the screaming tomato, but I would imagine that most bank managers would not like to see their employees "moonlighting" as dancers. Just a bit of food for thought.

Either way...your avatar is beautiful and I'm sure no matter which job you decide on, you'll do great!

    Good luck!

I hear ya. My mother is a manager at a top bank and she has a temper when people get snappy with her. EVERY single day she had some crazy stories. lol
