Just tried to load Chat and it seems broken...*shrug*
It's been working fine for me, except for the occasional DSL boot.. lol..
Maybe updating your Java will help, since the chat is Java based? I'm not sure..
Wanna talk PC problems? I spend eight hours on my day off troubleshooting my froend's computer because it hung up on "Checking DMI pool" (This happens BEFORE THE OPERATING SYSTEM LOADS). The damn thing would just FREEZE! Wouldn't boot from a floppy, wouldn't boot from CD, wouldn't boot from the hard drive... This computer would have made a great paperweight, but not much more.
8 hours on my day off, IN WHAT STARTED AS A FAVOR. I fixed it, but sheeeeeit. It drove me batshit, i mean BATSHIT.
VG try reinstalling Java. I assume you have some form of broadband...
Get the second one down. "J2SE v 1.4.2_05 JRE" is the filename.

As a last resort you can go to http://www.everywherechat.com/files/EWC.exe to download their chat program and use it instead of the java-based one.
Once it's installed, run it, give it a name - wait a few sec.s and it'll launch you into some chats. After the chat is open, type "/join #StripperWeb" (without the "s) and you'll be ready to go.
HeroesWe all imagine ourselves the agents of our destiny, capable of determining our own fate. But have we truly any choice in when we rise, or when we fall, or does a force larger than ourselves bid us our direction. Is it evolution that takes us by the hand, does Science point our way, or is it God who intervenes keeping us safe.
So much struggle for meaning, for purpose. And in the end, we find it only in each other. Our shared experience of the fantastic. And the mundane. The simple human need to find a kindred, to connect. And to know in our hearts... that we are not alone.
Cool...thanks all!!

I use the EWC client versus the java/browser. I think I like the sound effects in the EWC better anyways- the moooooo is FAR superior.
The only other problem with chat is how the room is often 0 peeps. Get yer butts in there and chat folks.![]()
It doesn't matter if you're somebody in this world, it rather matters you mean the whole world to somebody.
