    Default Prescription cat food

Another pet related question - my kitty was just diagnosed with diabetes. He's on insulin and prescription food - Hill's m/d, or Purina d/m. This stuff is pricey - $30.00 a 10 lb bag, and only available at my vet's office. My question - does anyone know of a less expensive source of this food?
I propose a toast - to my self control.... I see you crawling, helpless, on the floor.......
