    Default New mascara:XXL, Maybelline

Hey all Saw, purchased, & tried this: Maybelline XXL, mascara. It has the double brush, (white stuff @ one end) Really like! Only wore 2 coats, made lashes look great, long, not goopy (probl w/other stuff). Was ez to remove, & seemed not 2 smudgy.

OOOHHHHH! I must try! Does it come in waterproof?

Not that I saw, Hot. Perhaps on it's way. Just saw/bought the other day. Pretty sure I didn't see waterproof. Next time I go to Ulta, or Wal mart, I'll check there. Btw, isn't waterproof a b*tch to remove? Not to mention hard on lashes/skin? Estee Lauder makes a product called raincoat, it's a clear "waterproofer" to go on over mascara. But kind of expensive. $15. I think.

yeah the waterproof is a bitch to take off, but it's a blessing at the beach! Benefit Cosmetics makes this stuff, She-Laq, that is a sealer for everything: mascara, lipstick, eyeliner. It's pretty cheap for the many uses it has. I am a total makeup JUNKIE myself.

I have sensitive eyes, sem to be allergic to alot of eye makeup, but i am attracted to this mascara as well. Walgreens has it here, i may give it a try, if it irritates, i just give it away.

I have pretty light lashes, but long. I think a nice brown would look nice. Almay bothers me, but does not mean this stuff will. Never know.

That suks, Pam. I hate allergeries, have seasonal. I also have a weird allergy to most hair sprays. Hope it works for you. Suprised about Almay, thought they were supposed to be non-allergic, but I guess anyone can be to just about anything. Take care.

This sounds like a good mascara, my problem is with seperation. Does it seperate the lashes well?

Alexis- Yes it does! In my opinion, definately. I also have this problem. I always had to use that little metal comb, or a pin, eeek. I have umpteen tubes of other stuff layin' around.

The metal comb from Sally's Beauty Supply, I've bought several of those inthe past. Always on the quest for somthing to lengthen a seperate. I'll have to pick up this mascara tomorrow. Thank you for posting this.

L'oreal also makes the same concept kind. White end , and mascara end. I like it alot, but it is tough to get off.

You should use baby-oil, olive oil, or baby shampoo to remove the waterproof stuff. Works like a charm every time (and not expensive)!!

I have this stuff but a different brand. The one I have is Revlon, Lash Fantasy. I like it and its easy to take off. But my ultimate faves are Le Grand Curl, and the mascaras from Lancome. They really do a HUGE difference on my eyes.

I might give this Maybelline XXL a try. I see it in stores and magazines, very tempting. Right now it's just good Maybelline Great Lash.
