Default any advise on las vegas????

hey- ive been dancing the nyc area and some of florida for like 7 years and am interested in trying out vegas. i remember a girl a few years back telling me about an apartment complex she stayed in that she found online that i guess was mostly dancers and that it had a gym in it and was easy to get a cab from to go to work at night. has anyone ever heard of anything like this? or should i give up looking online and just book a motel or hotel? i have never been there so i dont know the neighborhood so any recomendations are appreciated. also, are there any websites where dancers have apts to share short term? i really want to work in vegas just dont really know how to go about it. again, any help is greatly appreciated.

Right now its family season.. the clubs are a bit slower... be prepared not to get a great shift if you do audition and don't forget about your work card and permits.

I just had a friend return from Vegas last week, she said it was very very slow and she got shitty shifts (3am- 9am) which didn't allow her to make much money. Do your research before you go!

Vegas has lots of extended stay suites that are actually small one bedroom apartments.

Emerald Suites on Tropicana and Valley View has a gym and is only a 2-5 mile cab ride to the big clubs. It runs around $275 a week including tax. I highly recommend this place.

Emerald or Budget suites on Tropicana are best. They are next door to each other.

Vegas is slow now and money not as good as 4-5 years ago.Too many dancers for the amount of customers but since you've never been, you need to experience it for yourself.

It's up to you, but most girls in the know unless they live there avoid the summer.

I recommend coming around Mid-October when the convention season starts up again and then the clubs will be easier to get hired in.

You will work with more girls than you are used to in most of the bigger clubs and competition is fierce. Just don't come with high expectations. There will be good and bad and clubs will give you the run around on hiring. Just be patient.

Early morning shifts are decent in the fall and spring.

Go there now at your own risk.
