Default Important documentary Aug 7th on Discovery Times Channel

Please, I beg everyone here to watch this very important documentary of Liberia that airs Aug 7th on the Discovery Times Channel.

If you don't know what happened there you will be shocked and probably cry your eyes out. Almost no one here in the US knows about this and it is tremedously important to the human race to know about it and never let such a thing happen again. So please, please watch it or record it AUG. 7th on Discovery Times Channel

Sure AinNY here you go, please don't skip the letter posted near the bottom, it will give a realistic perspective on what happen:

The people of Liberia were harassed and intimidated by the different factions. Civilians were repeatedly robbed and murdered. During the war, villages and towns continually changed hands, and each time a new faction moved in, they would plunder, torture and commit atrocities. Many children were forced to join one of the warlords. Their parents, siblings or other villagers would be tortured until they agreed to join. Initiation often involved forcing the children to rape, torture or kill fellow villagers or even relatives. A common form of intimidation to force them to join was to hack off limbs of their faimly members in front of these kids often it was their mother or if the family had an infant they would cut off the babies arms or legs. The same thing was used to punish those who didn't obey orders after becoming soldiers. Photos from Liberia show numerous people walking around with missing body parts.

Their President during much of this was an American educated man named Charles Taylor-he supported and basically created the child soldiers part of his Army. He not only terrorized his own country but also invaded Serria Leone He was finally forced out of office by the U.N in 2003

Here is a letter written by one of these kids:

I joined when I was 13 years old. I was just forced to fight because I was separated from my parents and the rest of my family. I had to fight for my own survival. I was given six months of training and became a special forces' member. I fought on the front lines, but I wasn't afraid the first time because I had been given drugs. I fired mortar. I experienced some terrible things during the war. I saw some terrible things and did some terrible things. I saw people being killed, I saw fighters eat people's hearts. They burned people and killed young babies. I did these things too because we had to obey orders. After the war, I tried to find my family, but they have disappeared. So now I live near a roadside store. That's where I live and sleep.

These kids were given endless amounts of cocaine and as you read above they were forced and trained to rape and consume human flesh. Many of these kids are now hopelessly addicted and many have just become insane, litterly.

I have a close friend who escaped Liberia-she had one her arms cut off from the elbow down and her brother is one of the kids who was forced into war. The stories she tells are unreal and make Iraq look like childsplay. G.W promised to help Liberia but changed his mind and invaded Iraq instead.
