Actually, my SON is the one who is into cars now that he's college age. Of course "mama" likes sporty looking cars too, but my son is the one that makes things like custom mag wheels and nitrous oxide tanks and funny looking exhaust pipes magically appear. Of course, from his standpoint, it's a lot easier for him to borrow "mama's" car than buying his own, snip
And I felt bad when I was in high school driving my parents 1963 lime green Rambler American mini-station wagon, which was about 1.5x the size of a bathtub......

but Pam, there's absolutely no feeling in the world like hitting that Nitrous button and having all 4 tires burn rubber while blasting past some passhole!
    Wooohoooo Melonie!

I've always settled for 2 wheels since it's more of a challenge when the ass-end is whipping everywhere amongst the tire smoke.. moments before something breaks.. LOL

Nitrous is fun, but I outgrew it years ago after like my 9th engine blown from it LOL. Somewhere I got a pic of a hood with a rod sticking out of it.. wonder if I can find it.
It doesn't matter if you're somebody in this world, it rather matters you mean the whole world to somebody.

Nope, 4 wheel drive for this girl. At least that way when the nitrous kicks in I can have some general confidence that my car will still be heading in the same direction as before !

Actually I don't have the balls to go faster than 140mph. And THAT was done during one of the privately owned vehicles days at nearby Watkins Glen Racetrack, not on a public road.

I'm getting to that point as well - particularly after the Eclipse bent a shaft in the transfer case, dropped the driveshaft, and cracked the rear diff case recently. Fortunately, the guy that owns a local junkyard is obsessed by big tits and has several Talons/Eclipses in his collection !
