    Default new :) hihi

    hey everyone

i've been thinking about dancing for a while now, i think it will really help my self esteem and i could really really use the money as well.

i just have a question about the types of girls who dance.. i have this idea in my head that tan is always IN. i'm naturally very pale, i have red hair and i cannot tan even if i wanted to. just wondering if there are any redheads out there dancing? or is it strictly tan blondes? lol

also, i am only a b cup and i dont think i'd ever get breast augmentation. wondering about the variety in cup size as well? just basically wondering if i should even bother, lol.

    Hello rievenge, welcome to SW.

As a customer I can tell you there is not "strictly" anything. The dancers I've seen come in all heights, builds, nationalities, skin tone and hair color. If you like to tan great, but I've known dancers who would be considered pale like you describe and do great.

Also, the great part about being a red head is that there are not usually too many of them. Having something to diversify you from the rest of the dancers is NOT a bad thing. Dancers are always looking for that 'hook' to help them stand out from the rest of the pack, and you've got one naturally!

I'm sure the other ladies will give you tons of wonderful advice, so best of luck and keep us updated as to how things go.
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.

Well...if you think that going into dancing is going to help your self-esteem, you may be in for a surprise. While hearing how beautiful you are all night is a great plus...most dancers with low self-esteem start comparing themselves with all of the other dancers...and drag their own selves way, way down. If you have low self-esteem, I would strongly suggest working on that BEFORE you get into dancing.

Now as for the "physical" looks of a dancer. Your best bet is to just work with what you've got. I know that most people believe that a "true" dancer is 36-24-36 with blonde hair, big boobs, and legs for days. However, this is not the case. Where that may be the "ideal" for some guys, other guys love redheads, small boobs, big hips, blue eyes, green eyes, curly hair...variety is the spice of life. There are a few girls at my club who are flat-chested and bank every night...while a lot of the girls tan, there are several that have the alabaster look that do well. In the end, it's not about the look you have, but the confidence that you carry with you. Men love confidence more than anything else.

    Good luck!

    Oh, and welcome!!!

nah, i love being a redhead, its who i am and i wouldn't change it for anything! i am who i am and i don't think i'd get myself down with comparing myself to other girls.

im just kind of in a different boat i guess because i wasnt the popular girl in school or anything. lol, i dunno what i was trying to say there.

well anyhow, i am a really big flirt and i love being silly and fun. im going to get really serious about my fitness and check out an amateur night soon. im really excited

I'm a 6 feet tall, natural redhead, and probably a 36-38B given I do private parties in the nyc area there are a lot of guys out here that love redheads. In NY most of whats around is fake boobs, and died hair, and guys get sick of seeing that they seem to like all natural. I've done parties where i've walked out after a 1hr show and walked out with over $400-$500 in tips. It's all in the show, if your having a good time and their having a good time, thats mostly what matters. Being playful, and respecting your own limits (obviously the most important) You learn after time what works for "your look" I can honestly say in 4yrs of dancing i've never seen or worked with another natural redhead

To prove that you're a natural redhead, leave plenty of pubic hair. I speak as a nature-lover.

haha..i can't do anything more than a landing strip. ive been shaving so long that if i let it grow i just feel it there all the time and it becomes itchy and bothersome.

cant i just show the customers baby pictures instead?

A landing strip's sufficient. One of the top earners at my club is a pale redhead. She banks. I think that if you stand out it will help your earnings.

As far as the self-esteem thing goes, I definitely have a greater appreciation for my body now. You might come to think of yourself as a hot chick if you didn't before.

I shave completely, and since i do private parties, the guys that are curious enough usually ask my "driver" if i'm a natural redhead or not

Oh yeah hon.. There are quite a few of us natural Redheads out here.. lol..

As for "proving" that you're a natural redhead, I don't feel that you need to do that, I never feel the need to prove it. My white-as-a-sheet skin is pretty much proof in itself, as well as my perfectly matched red eyebrows.. lol.. I can't get a tan to save my life. Personally, I think that an overly tan redhead would look a bit odd, as for myself anyway. It's just not a natural thing for a redhead. We're supposed to be pale (and avoid the sun).. lol

I didn't dance nude when I did, so I got real tired of the question "Does the carpet match the drapes". Blah.. I just told them "When there is carpet.. yeah". I'm more of a linoleum girl.

    Good luck to you hon!

I'm a natural red head. with b cups too! I do get tan which is kind of wierd and throws ppl off. I have to start with spf 50 and work my way down - but I am a lifeguard by day so I spend a lot of time in the sun.

Ppl always ask if it's real. I shave completly, but even my "tan" color is not super dark so people usually figure it out. I have met TONS of guys who are red head lovers - and we're kinda rare

One last thing, in clubs, a lot of times with the lights it makes my hair look either blonde or brown to most guys, but the red head lovers pick me out right away.

    Red heads unite!!

    p.s. I've had some threads I posted about makeup/clothes for red heads you might wanna search for if you need any ideas.;

also aveda makes some shampoos and stuff specially for red heads, I don't remember exactly what it's called...perhaps madder root or something like that. I'll research that too and get back to you

Do you think a customer who's into red heads would be dissapointed to learn that you're not a natural red head or they wouldn't care at all? I don't like to lie if I don't have to. Thanks! =)

Personally, I don't think a customer cares if you're a natural redhead or not, unless they're REALLY into redheads.

I had a favorite customer who had a major redhead fetish, and only natural redheads would do. I was the only redhead (natural, but also the only redhead of any kind) working at the club at the time. So, it worked out very well. He was the sweetest guy. He would just want to sit at a table and brush my hair. LOL. He bought my own special brush that he would bring in with him, and he'd tip me the whole time. Of course, he did tell me that he did some freaky things with the hair after he cleaned the brush out each night, but... Whatever floats their boats.. lol

That reminds me of this eppisode of the X-Files where this guy/demon would murder women and cut off their hair and fingers. Then he'd store the "lady fingers" in the fridge and eat them later with his peas and carrots. He got off on the hair. He ordered a red headed escort over to his place to wash her hair before he killed her and went ape shit when he found out it was a wig. But the escort kicked his ass and got away, lol. Yeay! Then he went after Skully! =O

ok I just tried that stay red stuff - that was SCARY. It is red, so after I put it in my hair my hands were bright red! I rinsed real well (I was scared that now my hair was fire engine red or something). I got out of the shower and my ma said it looked like my part was bleeding so I had to get back in and rinse some more. I don't really see a difference in my natural hair or anything, except for it was a lot curlier than usual, and was super hard to straighten today. I havent' decided if I like the smell of it or not.

I was really afraid that red stuff would run on my face and make me look like a blood sucking vampire or something. My left palm is still reddish today, but it has faded a lot.

I tried that Stay Red from Sally Beauty and haven't had nearly as much trouble as you did! Maybe you got a bad bottle? I know when stuff sits around it can get kinda funky sometime....i would try returning it though!
