I'm getting ready for my clubs Entertainer of the Year Contest. first prize is $1000 and the cover of the clubs 2005 calendar. This will be my third time competing and I'm trying not to think too much about winning and just about getting up there, having a good time and making bank in seven minutes on stage!
It seems no matter how I try my mind always goes back to the "I want to win" mentality. My problem this year is that my husband won't be here. He's my sounding board and lets me have my nervous fit beofre the contest. He's in Sturgis tattooing and won't make it back for the contest.
Any tips on how not to get so nervous?
