Possible troll alert LOL

Once again I have embraced my addiction and have put off the moral dilemma to another day.

If you're a dancer, why don't you share some tidbits of what your co-workers experiences are?![]()

Being bored & bitter, I'll bite...
I had a boyfriend. He was totally ok with me dancing, because he recognized the opportunity to take full advantage of the situation. He didn't work, slept in late with me, spent my money on food, clothes, drugs, parties, etc, then took my car out every night to get high and pick up girls while I was at work.
From your other post, it doesn't sound like your man is much of a gem, either.
The bottom line: dancers more than anyone need to be extra wary about we allow into our lives. There are 99 parasites for every 1 genuine friend.
"When I squinted the world seemed rose-tinted and angels appeared to descend; to my surprise with half-closed eyes things looked even better than when they were opened!"

being bored I will bite as well. I have been married for 14 years. danced the first 5 then had kids. he was fine with it then. now I am going back for financial reasons and he is not so ok with it but realizes that the $$ will definitely pull us out of a hole so he has to be ok with it. he is only worried that the day job will find out about it and that the kids will find out or my "reputation" in our very conservative town will be hurt. but I think once the bills are all paid on time he will not worry so much
I never cared. I like a girl who has her own life, and i'm cool with it. If there is no trust, then there really is no relationship. Now, keep in mind, my kids mom then proceeded to go totally barking mad, so she's a bad example, but the other dancer i dated was really stable and really had her shit together.
Something like that is a lot more important, does she have her ducks in a row, if so why worry about anything else?
Hope that made sense.
(picture beavis and butthead laughing and then saying this) Yes I have a so. A SO_SO so.
Yeah her SO is Studbuster! Sorry hun I couldn't resist!
Yes I have a SO, d/h whatever you wanna call him, we have been married for 6yrs now and we are more in love today than we were when we got married. I agree dancing can be hard on a relationship if the guy/girl is insecure with things (assuming you aren't a f**k up).
But if your partner is secure in the reletionship dancing is a fine way to work and buy the things that you guys want and need.

okay, but in reality *sigh* (sorry to prolong the board clutter) I have a fiance' who is okay with it for FINANCIAL reasons. After we're (I'm) done digging ourselves out of a "hole" I'm quitting. No, not for him but for myself 'cause I don't wanna do it forever. Just wanna be able to SAY I did it later on in life...

husband and no totally against me dancing.......and everything else.

btw I feel stupid asking but what does SO mean

i got it significant other........thats why it took me a long time to get it.......significant

Fiancee' and he is perfectly ok with my dancing and helps me scout out new clubs and sell myself better. He is big on non traditional ways of making money.
