I actually used "Stripped" as my very first audition for stripping when I was bout 20!!!!!!!!!!! :o
Some of my fave DM songs besides that one are "If you want", "strangelove", "master and servant", most songs off the "Violator" cd, which I think is there best to date (with "Black celebration" a very close second).
There have been gems from other albums, including the first two ("Speak and spell" and "A broken frame") but I started to lose my great interest in them from the "Ultra" cd. From that cd on I thought they were only capable of really good singles occassionally. Dave Gahan (lead singer) did a solo cd recently and I don't mind the single, "Dirty sticky floors".
I'd love to hear about the sets you combine your DM songs with and what themes / costumes you use. Good luck!

The soundtrack to "The Crow" is also hot, but a bit on the dark and moody side. A good DJ will be able to pull it off by balancing it out with more upbeat or lively stuff before and after.
Gynger, hell yes on The Smiths! And Erasure, though I like Yaz even better.
Speaking of cool 80's type music, have you heard Annie Lennox' remake of "Take me To the River", or "Train in Vain"? But uh-oh, I'm getting off-topic again...
