    Default Home Improv

Hey, all. Gonna stain my deck. I know I hafta wash it down, (got a long handled scrub brush). & fill in cracks w/outdoor wood filler. I have the clear stuff to use. (CWF - UV, clear wood finish) I guess it takes 1 - 2 days to dry? I ask the Home Depot guys, but when I asked about painting my shed, he said 2 cans, 32 ozea. It took 8 total!. Can't ask neighbors either. thank you! Ps, also have a leakin' window, so I put heavy duty clear vinyl inside & out, with dbl sided tape, (from a window draft sealing kit) so far so good, went over it w/outdoor tape, but? Haven't had any heavy rain, wind yet. Thanks again

Scrub Brush? I used a power washer...if you can swing it, I would suggest renting one for a half day.

    Thanks, Moj
Verf, never had anyone doing anything "free", (nor would I want/expect to ) excepting, the most nominal type of thing, a favor that someone would do for anyone, (ex. a friend putting on my license plate that fell off).
I am not "stripping" but preparing a surface to be sealed, & wanted to be sure of correct procedure before going ahead & possibly messing up. Saw Sitri's post, hee haw.
I am doing this myself, not asking for a worker reference of any kind. TY
