Just wanted to share. I thought I saw a thread a couple of weeks ago asking about scar treatments, but I couldn't find it.
Anyway, I have been using this on my tummy tuck scar (over 2 years old) for the past 8 weeks, and I've had really good results. My scar is thinner, lighter, and flatter. You can still tell that I have a scar, but it is definately less noticeable. The instructions say to use it for 8- 12 weeks, based on the results I've seen so far, I'm going to continue using it for the full 12 weeks. I need to go get another box, though. It takes 2 pads to cover my scar, which goes from hip to hip. One pad, cut lenghtwise in 3 sections, covers 1/2 of the scar. Cost was $22 plus tax. I have been wearing the stips constantly, only taking off to shower and to go to work, kind of a bummer to come home late and then have to put the crap back on every night for so long!
Gripe: The product itself is sticky, but clothes tend to make it roll off or slip out of position. To keep in place, I bought some paper tape (medical tape that is made for ease of removal when frequent changes are necessary) at CVS. This worked great, but when it ran out, I bought some paper tape at Winn Dixie (I'm on my 3rd roll of tape). When I went to work, I noticed under the blacklights that this product left a sticky residue on my skin (which was hard to get off) because it was glowing!

and all I could do was ice it so that I could feel only numbness and not itching.... the patch wasnt that bad, I just sat around scratching my ass all day
and it left a light reddish square for a few hours to a day..... band aids dont bother me though (I am rambling I know....), and that platic tape was just fine, although where it was on my stomach doesnt shine now, but only at certain angles, does that make sence? socks bother me too... dont know why, but they make my legs itch, especilly if I shaved that day.....
