After reading how a few things here & there this question strikes upon me:
Do any of you dance with really bitchy catty girls, who get you in trouble or just give you some bull shit? Know what I mean? How do you deal with that?

I just ignore other people and make money. That's all you can with a lot of dancers

Good for you, I would do the exact same thing!Originally Posted by audreyhepburn link=board=27;threadid=12300;start=msg158804#msg15 8804 date=1092878103
Just want to know if anyone has experienced it & how they delt with it.
You are not there to be anyones friend but your own, you are there to make money my friend. Fuck all that highschool drama bullshit. Ignore it and move on. That pisses them off more if you ignore it.

When I worked in one club exclusively for a decent length of time (just over a year)... I found that this happened to me. There were 4 or 5 other dancers who I knew did NOT like me and were always looking to whinge to the hostesses about something I did wrong (even tho' I hadn't done anything wrong)....
Anyway, I just watched myself around them.
Nowdays, since I am travelling around with my dancing... I am similiar to audreyhepburn... I can easily avoid all the crap as I'm never there long enough to really get involved.

Btw, this stuff goes in "regular" jobs as well, I've found. Gotta really watch myself around co-workers, & neighbors.

Most of it comes from jealousy or compitition. I handle that by being extra nice to the bitchy ones, look my best and kick a** on stage. That's the best revenge when you get tipped and they don't.

Thats exactly what I do. Always only speak positively about everyone, dont ever let anyone hear something negative coming out of your mouth - and be extra nice to the ones who dislike you kill them with kindness! It really works.Originally Posted by Indira link=board=27;threadid=12300;start=msg159058#msg15 9058 date=1092917997
And of course ALWAYS look your best and be focused, and money will follow.

Well, i ignore them too. Unless, they say something mean to my face. I don't stand for stuff like that.
I don't do anything physical, as it would be beneath me, but i very nicely put them back to reality.

He he.. it is bitches galore in my neck of the woods..I try to ignore their crap, but it's gotten so rediculous with girls making comments more and more regularly about how big my boobs are that I patronize them right back..I give them shit right back....They dont always like that but after taking shit for so long and keeping my mouth shut I got tired of taking it up the [email protected]@ so I retaliated(msp)!! Just the other day this one dancer made a comment in front of a few other girls in the dressing room about how 1 of my boobs is as big as her head..I said something to the effect of-- no its not and bring your damn head over here and set it right beside my boob, she did it and I said --see it would take at least two of my boobs to equal one of your head.....HAhaHA jesus--that was funny I had them all cracking up-I was actually trying to make this one pmsing girl laugh(trying to cheer her up)..It worked...This is a new club for me, so Im trying to be as nice as I can to the girls around me, but there always seems to be at least 1 or 2 that have to be bitches...This one girl in particular got an attitude with me from the first moment she saw me..She didnt even know me.....I tried to be nice to her and she blew me off..No more Ms Nice Girl to her anymore...

Yeah I work with bitchy girls but you know what?? There will always be bitchy girls in the business. All you can do is ignore them and go about your business. Most dancers I know are cool once you get to know them over time just keep in mind you are there to make money, not friends.
