Depends how many girls are working in the night. The more girls, the longer time between stage sets, and vice versa.

too long sometimes. LOL last night was sooooo damn slow
LOL, and too short at other times... ie. at smaller clubs when everyones off sick or in the habit of not turning up on time etc. I have done entire 10 hour shifts with as little as 1 or 2 other girls and it's quite common at my club for 8pm and 9pm start girls to not show up, so anyone who does is often on their own until 10pm! (And you have to stay on the podium and dance regardless, lol!)
Like all things, different clubs have different policies.
Some clubs will just put each girl in a rotation and the number of girls will determine the time between sets. (Once visited a small club with one stage on a Friday night. They had 30 dancers, it was like 2 hours between stage sets for the girls. Lots of time to work the floor.)
Some clubs will try to keep it regulated and have you on stage at least once an hour. You'll still follow a rotation but if there a lot of girls then the club will start running multi-dancer sets or start to use satellite stages if they have them. (This is probably the most commen form I've seen.)
Other clubs have definte schedules where a dancer will dance the same 10, 15 or 20 minutes each hour. For example, a dancer will be on the set that starts at the top of the hour, 15 past, half past or 45 min past. (One club does this and basically divides the number of dancers who show up on a given night by 4. Some nights there will be three dancers on the stage for every set and other nights there might be 12+ dancers on stage for each set.)
These are just examples of what I've seen.
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.
