    Default Getting the red out

    Hey everyone-

Does anyone know of anything other then Visine for contacts(I am a contact wearer) that is good at getting the red out of eyes. The smoke kills me and Visine helps, but it doesnt do the best job..Its hard to find something that can be put into the eye while having contacts in that really does a good job of making them more clear..Any suggestions

I don't wear contacts but have a friend who does and dances, she puts gel in her eyes before putting in her contacts, this stuff she says build a barrier (for a time) and coats the eye well from smoke and dry eye.

It's called Genteal. A small drop in each eye lasts (i have dry eye) and only causes a bit of blurry vision for a few moments, then all is clear.

Don't put a big blob in. Only small doses as needed. It does help alot.

Use as much as needed, nothing addictive, or dangerous to it.

    Good luck,

    Pamela

if the red is partly due to "dry eyes", their are vitamins you can take for it.
i forgot what its called. It helps replace"natural tears"

I've never tried it, but I've read the (aptly-named) herb Eyebright is good for increasing the 'clarity' of eyes, which may include decreasing redness...something to look into.
