    Default velcro rollers

Hey, i just bought some large velcro rollers to give my hair somemore volume and make it look a bit tousled. I haven't used them since 5th grade and I've forgotten what to do? Should I just put them in and spray my hair with hairspray or should I heat them up with a blowdryer? Anyone know?

The best way that I've found to use them is to mousse your hair a littlewhile still damp, then blowdry on the low and warm setting.

I usually avoid Velcro rollers because they're so time-consuming. I prefer a large-barrel curling iron. But I could see how the Velcro would minimize the heat damage.

Also if you can to keep hair damage down, don't use velcro. But since you have them, and god knows i used them years ago, i would damp my hair, or after washing hair let it air dry to just damp, put them in your hair and wear them around for hours, or all day in the house if you can, then before taking them out give a "cool" blast of blow dry to each one, take out gently, you should have a nice curl, and fix any hairs you feel, then put hair spray over the curls. You may need to use more hairspray now and again for a touch-up.

It does work! I used to try and sleep in the things, tough.

Yeah, I have a curling iron, but I am sooo bad at using it. I have super thick hair and I always end up putting too much in the iron. I can't seem to simply make my hair wavy with it, either. I just end up with big obnoxious curls!
