The ones that want to make better money work nights.

It really depends on the club.

I did very well working days at Camelot in DC, but overall the money is typically made at night, with the exeption of perhaps a few day girls that have good regulars.

Some of the top girls will work the day shift...sometimes, all it takes is one good paying customer! Also, sometimes they make appointments to see these guys for lunch at work. Usually, though, most of the top earners work the peak hours.

I work days and nights. Working nights doesn't necessarily mean inferior talent...it could mean girls who have kids in school or whatever.

I find that during the days I see the best money from regulars, and at night I get money here and there from lots of randoms. Weekend nights are obviously best, but I've had many a Tuesday afternoon that was WAY better than tuesday night (for example).

I work days, but I have worked nights too. I didn't make any more than the earlier shift and so decided it wasn't worth it. The tipouts are higher, and I miss out on time with my so and sleep (on the late nights). Personally, I enjoy my day shift. I can go in at 11:00 and be out of there by 3:00 and it hardly puts a dent in anything else I want to do.
Also, I think the girls I work with during the day tend to be a bit more attractive than the night girls...

I agree i don't think it has to do with talent, some dancers have to do a shift that their life would allow. Nights in my area have been the best. Weekends always better. I tried days a few times when i first started dancing and found it rather boring for me. I like a busy club, plus i am a night owl when it comes to club dancing.

There is no discernable difference looks wise between the early and late shift dancers at my club. Both have a blend of hotties and not so hotties. I like the early shift better personally because the atmosphere is more laid back. From what I understand the night ladies make a tad more money but have to put up with the crazies to earn it. The early shift tends to be largely business guys like myself.

Day shift: fewer guys spending more money
Night shift: more guys spending fewer money

However, sometimes the day shift customers is fewer than the number of dancers, so you have dancers that walk away with a lot less money and then some with more, whereas night shift can be more equally distributed.

I work mostly days....some nights. Mostly the girls that work the day shifts are moms and full time college students....like myself. The money is about the same, but fewer customers in the day. But they actually spend money which makes up for it.

Bambi, 3 out of the 5 dancers I hang out with the most are enrolled in college. I enjoy talking to them about their education goals. From a selfish point of view I dont want them to quit dancing but theyve made it clear to me that working at an SC is a means to an end not their ultimate goal in life. The other day Miss D pointed to Miss R who is in her mid 30's and hasnt done much else with her life and said "Miss R is a sweetheart but I dont want to be dancing at her age". I didnt comment since I really like Miss R (a very nice person) but I understood what she was getting at.

I had to work a lot of days over the past couple of months because of my school schedule and it's definitely true that the night girls in general are more attractive at my club. But there are still some hotties on the day shift; it's just that there are really, seriously, some not-so-hotties.

Money was actually pretty decent for me most days, especially on Mondays and Fridays.

I love day girls...also the clientelle is different, more business guys looking for a little lunch conversation and no loud obnoxious drunkards.

Yeah. Nights (especially weekends) the club fills up with college kids that:
    a. think a $1 tip is a gift from god.
    b. like to do the sex dance (grinding into you while you do a private dance)
    and
    c. are sure you will come home with them, because they are "younger and cooler" than the rest of the guys you dance for (actual quotation).

couldn't have said it better myself.

    I don't personally think there's a difference in talent day-to-night. JMO

I think it's a common misconception that the best looking girls work nights. In many clubs the ladies have to work a certain number of day shifts in order to get Friday and Saturday nights. Also a lot of single mothers prefer to work days only. Two of the best looking dancers I've ever met fall into this category. Having gone to clubs both day and night for many years I much prefer days - it's much more relaxed and friendly, much less crowded, often alot less expensive, and the girls are just as attractive. As someone else said, the customers are mostly older regulars. I only wish more places were open during the day.

Depending on the city sometimes dayshift is the best $ shift Alot of married business types do their club visits at lunch or happy hour as do many retired men.

Dayshift can be great for a dancer who maintains a short list of regulars really well. I know one dancer who works Mon-Fri 12-8pm . She has a regular guy for each day of the weekand some of them she has had for years.

I'm sure she is making at least grand a week (air dancing) or more and her business wasn't nearly as disrupted as many others since 9/11. She has a fairly "normal" work week when compared to 9-5 people all things considered--- which does work out very well for her as a mother.

Most clubs make the newbies and those who can't "cut it" at night work dayshift. Some stripper moms choose to work dayshift for family reasons. Some strippers with other jobs/obligations need to work dayshift due to scheduling conflicts. Some choose to work dayshift because they prefer to sleep at night. Some choose to work dayshift in order to avoid the younger customers.

However, there is always more money potential at night. More customers in the door, more money in the door at night.

For the above reasons, GENERALLY speaking, you will find more of the younger "hotter" girls at night, BUT that's also partly because there are generally more girls working at night. The hot / not ratio may usually be higher at night, but there are definitely hot girls working days also. At the club I worked in Phoenix there were actually more "hotties" working days.

Well.. since none of the clubs open sooner than 5pm locally.. I can't really say.

I've always wondered about Friday DAY shifts in other locations as I'm totally "over" Friday nights (usually more competative.. and full of yobos/cheapskates).

Generally speaking.. I stick to nights due to being used to working nights. That's all... has nothing to do with talent.
