Sorry to all you guys hopeing for something Sharon Stone movie-esque but this is the real thing. I wake up this morning and go barefooted into the kitchen and a mouse runs right by my feet. I scream and it runs even closer to me. A minute later I go into the room where my cat is and my scream has woken her up. She comes into the kitchen, the mouse is out by the kitchen cabinet and I nearly bump into it again then it runs under the fridge. My cat waits by the fridge and then I see her carrying it and presume it's dead but when she drops it its unharmed.
I want it dead ASAP so I can do some cooking in the kitchen so I chase it around carrying a magazine that I throw on top of it trying to smash it. That doesn't work so I throw the magazine down and then stomp viguoursly and jump several times with my feet which now have shoes on. I let my cat play with the dead mouse for a couple minutes; she throws it in the air like its her new great toy although she definately wished it was still alive. I thew the mouse away but she sat in the spot where she last saw it for 20 minutes.
That certainly was enough excitement for my morning!
