I do,every Monday night.Love Michael's mom Deb (Sharon Glass)
I tried a couple episodes. I just couldn't get into it. Men shouldn't have so much drama in their lives.![]()
I havent watched Queer as Folk yet, but I have recently become addicted to another series... "The L Word"
good stuff![]()
YES i have watched QAF since the very first show! i hate that it only comes on once a year though. i also watch the L WORD.

I love that show, I have so many gay friends...if i didn't watch it, i'd probably be in trouble, haha.
Are you watching the UK version or the US version ? cos we get it every week in CanadaOriginally Posted by velvet link=board=1;threadid=12906;start=msg167350#msg167 350 date=1093925025
I too, enjoy L word. QaF, I've flipped around thru it, but? Maybe I'll give it another try.

Nope.

I don't get Showtime, just HBO.
I've seen a few episodes over the years, and they have some hot guys on that show! With all the fat, husband/skinny wife shows on the air on network TV (King of Queens, et al) it's nice to get some eye candy, even if they are gay.

I love Queer as Folk and the L word they are both great shows and one of the reasons I subscribe to Showtime.
My new love...is me !

I used to watch QAF every week, when I subscribed to Showtime. I found it funny at times.
The show does bring-up issues that need to be pointed-out to the straight community: that gays and lesbians have many issues in-common with the straight community and many issues unique to themselves. Gays and lesbians have many of the same relationship problems that straights do and dont need the added pressure of the anti-gay crowd bashing them.
The only turnoff for me was that EVERY episode had, at least, one sex scene. It got old after awhile.
At the club I work at, the boss has us play porno videos on the big screen TV to get the guys turned-on. I see people having sex all the time. I didnt want to have the same thing playing on my TV at home, too.
In September of last year, I cancelled my cable subscription and disconnected my TV. I was so bored with everything on TV, that I just didnt want to have it on in my home, at all. I dont even watch TV when I go out to a bar.
Sure, I miss QAF, Enterprise, Monk and a few other shows that I liked. But, with my work schedule I seldom had the time or energy to watch the shows when they were on or even watch the tapes of the sows on my few days/nights off.
Yes, but only when it gets released on DVD. Have only seen first 3 seasons.
