For gowns i pay about 70-120 dollers. skirt outfits 30-60 and pant outfits about 80. I also buy a lot of lots from ebay! I keep and wear what i want , and sell the rest to other girls at work. I always make back my money and then some from it.

Well, I was cheap when I started because I wanted to have plenty of outfits on hand. Now I can be a little pickier, I probably get one new gown a month - so the $70-$100 figure. Though I got a pretty nice "wet look" black gown for $30, one of my favs.
Shoes I haven't gone over $50 since the first pair I bought.

No gowns here- theme costumes. I make mine, so I spend about $10-30 (plus time) on a full costume (5+ pieces incl. bra), and charge $100+ plus supplies if I'm making it for somone else. I make myself about 1 new costume a month.

For smaller things, like skirt sets, pants sets or bikinis I spend about 0-$10 (plus time), and charge anything from $20-$60, depending on time and material.

Shoes I spend a lot on, because I'm picky...my heels have to be old-school stilettos with the metal spike in the heel, and then I get treads put on them. I do a lot of stage dancing so it's kind of necessary. This runs me about $100 total per pair of shoes, shoes last about 3-6 months.

    Feature costumes for sale!

Lot's of babydoll type dresses and gowns. I probably spend $50-200 every couple months.

I pay about 90-120 for gowns and about 60-80 for an outfit. Shoes are usually 60 for a pump and about 100 for boots.

Too much! Too much for the materials and shoddy workmanship of most "stripper clothes".

I usually spend about $800 a year on outfits and new shoes. It sounds like a lot, but I wear the hell out of my favorite stuff until right about it begins to look a bit tatty. Once a year I blow about $400 on a binge, then the rest with a new outfit or pair of shoes once every three months or so.

The prices others have quoted for clothes and shoes are pretty in line with what I usually pay.

NinaDaisy, by any chance have you been to the attitudes boutique in silver spring? [if I remember right you're in or around the baltimore area] Stuff looked pretty nice on the website, but haven't had a chance to make it out there yet.

Nope, haven't made it out there yet. Silver Spring is in Southern MD, about 45 minutes from where I live.

I mostly get my stuff from Poison Angel, Flirt (and return half of what I get from them because they can be hit-or-miss, IMO) or this French costume chick in my club in NOLA that makes some great stuff.

At the stores in my area I usually expect to pay approx.

    $5-$15---Thongs/G-Strings
    $20-$35---Bikinis (top and bottom)
    $25-$45---Short Sets
    $30-$65---Skirt Sets
    $30-$65---Short Dresses
    $50-$150---Long Dresses/Gowns

Sometimes I will go on a binge shopping trip, but in the past I usually just bought myself one or two new outfits a month, and a new pair of shoes every 3 to 6 months.

I'm learning how to make costumes and just got done crocheting a cute bikini. I am extremely picky about gowns, so I don't spend too much...at one time...I will only buy American high quality dancer shoes, so I spend about $100+ for each pair.
