Anyone here have the style of implants? If so, how do they look? I'm looking into getting that style of cohesive gel implants.
Oh, & does anyone happen to have the Mentor 1(800) number?
Thanks.![]()

I have Mentor CPGs, which stands for contoured profile gels. They are textured, anatomical, cohesive silicone implants. Not sure if this is the same kind you are talking about, but I love mine. They feel absolutely awsome, and they are a very natural look.
Mentor's number is 1-800-Mentor 8

Awesome girl, glad you're happy with them.Originally Posted by April link=board=5;threadid=13275;start=msg174545#msg174 545 date=1095092687

And thanks so much for the phone too, wow that was easy too...haha.![]()
are the cpg's the same as "high profile" implants? I've never heard the term cpg.... how much are they?
what is this mentor # about?

no I don't believe they are the same. contoured profile gels are silicone teardrops. A more gentle slope on the upper pole.

I got Mentor 300 series 630 HP overfilled to 675 last month and love them!
check out this link for a visual of HPs

Whoa. Those are exactly what I want. 630 HPs. I'm a 34Ccup now. What were before and what are you after? What do you think I'll be? Thanks.Originally Posted by britneyireland link=board=5;threadid=13275;start=msg175798#msg175 798 date=1095277875

The Mentor 3000 series are a high profile saline implant, which means they have a lot of projection, which means they aren't as flat looking as regular saline.
The Mentor CPG is a teardrop (or anatomical or contoured) silicone implant that has excellent projection as well, but maybe not as much as a high profile.
Not all PSs use the 3000 or the CPG (you have to be in a study to get them), so Mentor can give you names of participating surgeons in your area.
Just noticed that my post was a little confusing. I meant that you have to be in a study to get the CPG's, only. There is no study for the 3000 series.

When I got my first BA in '97, I got the mentor anatomically correct(teardrop shape) implants..I actually didnt like them and the second time around when i got my 800ccs, I got mcghan's round implant..I was much happier with the results of the round..but that's just me...
