Default Stupid management & dumb policies

Often times I've written on here how I visit an all-nude club, but never have my favorite dancer go all-nude during our private dances. In many cases the only thing she takes off are her shoes. It gives her feet a break, and since she's 5'11" barefoot, I like that it also brings her closer to me during the dance.

Yesterday I stopped by to visit her and after we got done with our dances the guy working as the "house mom" told her she was suspended for the next hour from giving dances for taking off her shoes....WTF!!!

It wouldn't have mattered, but it was also the first time all day that the club had gotten busy. We tried to explain to him that she only took her shoes off at my request. She even tried to say that part of my tip was for her to take her shoes off (a lie, but worth a shot). To top it off, he asked how much I tipped her for the shoes, and when she replied $20 he then responded, "Well, I hope that makes up for the next hour." What an A$$!!!

Luckily we were able to talk to the manager and get it straitened out, but the whole thing was just stupid! I mean, suspended for TAKING OFF HER SHOES!!!

Anyone else have a story over a dumb policy?

It could be the management anticipates a vice crackdown. Vice gets all hairy over some stupid stuff. In my state, taking your shoes off is an arrest-worthy violation.

Or it could simply be that the manager is a power-mad dickhead. Exercise your own power as a valuable consumer should it ever happen again.

"You know, Mr. Manager, I've been coming to this club faithfully for X length of time and I have never before failed to leave as a happy customer. I had thought that this club was very concientious of serving the customer's reasonable and legal wishes, and was more that delighted to give you my exclusive business for that reason. It would be unfortunate if I was forced to look elsewhere for my luxury entertainment over something this trivial. I understand that you have your policies, and rightly so, but you surely must also understand that a man doesn't care to spend $400 for an unpleasant scene such as this one."

Fuck, just say "What the heck is that all about? Makes me feel like I can't come here because I don't know what the heck is going to happen! I don't come here for drama, I come here to relax!"

I disagree with the execution but not the intent. By all means, get offended, but do not get belligerent. It makes people defensive and less inclined to see things your way. Being coldly offended and waving your large sums of money in the manager's face has more chance of getting some respect and explanations, at the very least, if not what you want in its entirety.

In Va.You cant have your shoes off,its against health code and is a deff violation.

The Mgr was a fucktard. He involved a paying customer in the business end of his dealing with an entertainer.

Fear not,he will either learn how to be a mgr,or he will die off fast like so many do.Dont let the BS drama get to you.If you feel your at the point you cant relax in that club, take it up with the gen mgr,or look for another club that will treat you as a customer.

I know that in many states when a club serves drinks it is against health regulations. Also some places as long as you keep your shoes on than you are not fully "Nude". I don't personally see the point myself on the last one.

Maybe if you enjoy the dances with her shoes off, than maybe have her talk to the manager about wearing a pair of cute socks. This way her feet are still covered and you are happy.

Old long time club has a policy similiar... no suspensions just constant warnings from the hostesses.

I've been booked for hours sometimes in the VIP at that club.. or even just an hour.. the customer has requested I take off my shoes (as some of them like to give foot massages due to knowing how much I will like the massage..).. only for me to be 'told off' by the hostess.

It's supposedly an "occupational health and safety" reason... the joke is that the shoes themselves aren't exactly safe.. you'd think having them off (in a specific area like the VIP room) would be okay.. or more safer LOL!

I've been to clubs where several dancers will wear the same pair of shoes on stage, then just wear regular shoes or none at all the rest of the time. I also prefer no shoes during a dance and even on stage, but in many places they aren't allowed to do that, probably because of health regs.

My nomination for dumb policy is having to buy private dances from someone other than the dancer. I used to go to a club in WV where you had to buy them from the bartender but the dances were done upstairs. So after each dance the girl had to get dressed, run downstairs with your $20 and give it to the bartender, than run back upstairs and get undressed again. Can you imagine how much business this cost both the club and the dancers? I've also been to places where you have to get a ticket from the bouncer or dj, then wait for the girl to get around to you. I never go to such places more than once. If I have to deal with someone other than the dancer, I don't buy dances.

You would have to wonder about a food/drink health policy where the genitals and anus go uncovered but shoes are required. Open-toed shoes are fine. Sure, makes perfect sense.

Whether you support the no-shoe rule or not, the fact this guy involved the customer into the situation proves this club has no tact nor professionalism.

Lilith was on the right track. If such a situation occurred, it would be wise to notify the mental reject that the club is a place of entertainment... and inflicting such politics and BS with customer's present is unprofessional and not inducive of a place customers want to relax, unwind and simply spend money.

I would have went over this guy's head and went straight to management. Clearly explain this guy wasn't trying to enforce rules, but instead take his shitty ass day out on both a dancer AND a customer. Explain now that the no-shoe rule has been dictated, it will be abided by... but assholes with a chip on their shoulder getting their rocks off by suspending a dancer AND also trying to inflict guilt on a paying customer would be a clear indicator to the manager that these things will cause spending to wane... and have definate long term effects on the clubs popularity.

No matter what the policy is he should have given her a warning first. Sounds like he was just on some kind of power trip.
