OTB is right - you will find a lot of info right here on this sight. Go through this section, "Stripping general" and "Music mix" - lots great ideas.

I still get intimidated (occasionally ) when I look at Chippendale style strippers, Manpower etc. Those dudes are making it with one particular look, but this look doesn't appeal to all, and there is plenty of space out there for all types to have a go at this profession.

If it makes you feel any better, I have seen plenty of dudes dancin' out there that definitely oughtta not, but they still do and make some $ in the deal. The only difference between them and you is experience.

You can dance man - that is a HUGE plus. Use that talent to your advantage. In the mean time, get into a gym, start on the weights, up your protein intake and you have already begun your way to a more muscular bod. If this is your heart's desire you gotta do it- we all started somewhere.

    Good luck.

In Seattle I know quite a few male dancers :o

    Try this website http://westrip.com

This is the group I work with from your neck of the woods. This outfit is very classy and respectable, and the guys are sexy, even if they won't be gracing the cover of Men's Health next month.

Since you can dance already, all you need to learn is the hustle, and that comes easy to some, and not so easy to others.

Anyway, call these guys, and they can get you started with photos and theme ideas etc.

Good Luck, I hope you get hired. We sometimes do Male/Female reviews. The last one I did we all shared the same dressing room

    XOXO Paris Love

I've been to Centerfold's in Seattle a few times- and while a good body is definitely necessary, the women were more impressed with the creative stage shows! The costumes, dancing and audience interaction are all just as important as your body. My friends and I spent a fortune on a guy in a cowboy costume- not the hottest guy there (although he was a babe), but great show and very sweet and friendly.
I won't lie, the body is important- but if you're fit already and you can dance, I'm sure you'll do ok. Good luck!

hey elvis. i think sofia loren said it best: sex appeal is 50% what you've got and 50% what people think you've got. confidence sells. in fact, in my experience, attitude is the single most important determinant for success in this business. i've seen plain girls clean house and beauties gathering dust.

btw, i'd choose definition over size ANY day of the week.
