    Default Living Vicariously

Anybody heard any songs that you would LIKE to see a dancer dance to?

I was listening to "Speak of the Devil" by Chris Isaak...(I'll try to post a link to an mp3 later if anyone wants to hear it)...and I had this vision rolling through my head of a dancer dancing to it... (to be honest, Vaden specifically came to mind)...initially seductively through the song's intro and first several measures....then when the song picks up and goes through a brief crescendo and becomes a bit harder could see a phenomenal opportunity for some major pole choreography.

I dunno...maybe I'm weird...but plain old sauntering and wiggling to music doesn't actually do it for me...I like good music with a strong dance set.

Anyone else think about this stuff? Ever hear a song that you've never seen a dancer groove to, but you'd like to?

Yeah, I suppose it does...blame it on lack of attention to detail, or geeky rebellion.

I have many times while shopping for music--and I only shop where they let you listen to it first--been struck with powerful and vivid visions of a specific dancer moving to the music in the headphones.

Since i am psychic, these visions generally become real.

Dammit...you say the word "music" one time and it drops into the musicmix category....this could have been a good topic.....I'm convinced.

When I here I song I like for the first time it seems that instead of just listening to it I start to wonder if I could dance to it. Then I do a little routine in my mind. I think some songs are just too perfect for stripping and I wonder what the artist thinks about all these women getting nekid to their music....LOL. I love it when a guy picks out the music I will dance to. Somehow I feel that I am pleasing him that much more by letting him pick a song he likes.

They LOVE it, Bettie. If you are moved by a song in any way, then it is a supreme compliment to a musician. If the song makes you feel sexy....and move in a way that a run of the mill song cannot, then they have achieved their goal.
