Also, & how long did it take to adapt to the atmosphere of your job?
I have been dancing for almost 6 1/2 years. I became the biggest hustler about 3 years ago and I adapted to my atmosphere within the first 6 months.![]()

It took me a few years to really adapt to the atmosphere...I was really naiive in the dancing world for years...I also didn't know what I was getting myself into, I didn't even know what a strip club was like, nor what a costume was..(back in '96)..I don't think things got real bad for me until late 2000-9/11-2001, then things got rough....I gained a little weight, life in my last relationship got crappy(ok it never was good), and I lost a couple really good regulars..I was lucky to have them for as long as I did really..and I got used to that money....Especially in 2001, that's when the reality of the economy hit me..ANd almost 8 1/2 years later here I am...going to school(stressing out from it) and over dancing..I am not over dancing's money but I'm ready to move on....I have to complete more school though first....I wish I could have been where I'm at now at age 19 or 20...At least I'm slowly , yet surely getting there...
I've only been dancing 5/6 months, but I have training in theatrics. I was already comfortable with the club, as had been there as a customer everytime I was in that particular town on business. Just happened to get pulled up on stage by the dancers (who were proly sick of me leering at them!! LOL) and it all kinda went from there.
Re advanced hustling-- already there baby!! Been an escort for 3 years now-- any stone, and I can get blood out of it!
2 yrs in 4 months....

I think that I still haven't become the hustler that I know I could be... (Maybe I should take the Dancewealth's seminar????) Anyways... I've been dancing for almost 8 years.... It doesn't seem that long. It took me time to get into the whole sales ideology of the dance probably about 2 years to really get into the mantra of to dance is to sell is to pay bills. It takes time and I've seen girls that are natural born hustlers and girls that aren't that make moeny so some times it just depends.
I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.
6.4 years. Hustling skills developed over time. Right now is good, and its getting better despite all the girls saying that this industy is dying. I must say that StripperWeb has been a huge help for me! But mostly it takes time and working clubs where you HAVE to hustle to make money!
Also, in addition to learning hustling skills, its important to learn how to do your clothing/makeup/overall look, stage dancing, and lap dancing skills. None of this is overnight........

As for adapting to the environment, well, that's tough to answer. I always liked the club atmosphere, except in a few nasty clubs I have worked at, I never adapted to those! And I have always been a little naieve, so some events I have witnessed I don't think I could ever adapt to.

Best advice right there & I totally agree.![]()

3 years this past Sept 12th....
My first year I wasn't serious about it at all... second year was half serious... this time.. this year.. I'm damn serious and in it for the money.
I took the DancerWealth course and while my income hasn't skyrocketed.. this is thru no fault but my own (still sometimes going back to bad old habits)... plus some of the stuff that I was taught takes time to learn (have to get used to saying, doing and so forth).
Now.. all I need to do is get my make-up and dancer attire 'look' right... and I'll be totally ready.
As for the 'atmosphere of my work' (I don't like using the word job due to the J.O.B "just over broke" connotation).... I've learnt that I'm pretty adaptable now. I can now work in any club... after 2 or 3 shifts I am used to the place and have worked how to "hustle" best in it.
I'm in a very very new club right now (it has only been open from Friday past)... it is going thru some teething problems right now... so once a system and everything is worked out.. things will become more stable.. and therefore.. I will be able to work the club easily.

I have been dancing on and off for about 2-3 years... I learned how to hustle probably after about 6 mos to a year.. at first I thought making $250 a night was awesome, then I got spoiled after I REALLY learned to hustle. Now $250 is crappy, for me anyways. Like someone said earlier, I am really naive, and I know this about myself, but I am still shocked when I hear about or see things that go on. Im still not used to the atmosphere sometimes.

I have been dancing for 7 years and I was a hustler from the first day.
4 1/2 years, it took a lot of bravery to learn how to hustle and I still have to be pretty drunk, hate to hear no! But with a drink or two I didn't mind the no's and sometimes that made a customer say yes a llittle later...
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
