    Default Discoloration and Even-toned skin

Hey ya'll. Didn't find anything on this so I'm asking. I'm extreamly self conscious about my body and I have medium to dark colored skin, a darker caramel color, a little bit lighter than my icon. But my body is so discolored. Like my arms are about 8 shades darker than the rest of me and I don't think it's from getting a tan. I want to be one color from head to toe. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'll try anything. Thanks in advance!

BTW I want to do this without bodymakeup

Put sun block on your arms and tan the rest of your body?
I've got uneven colouring - the mixed race thing, but no-ones ever noticed it.
I've once tried the above when I had uneven tanning - I tan so quickly and easilly and if I'm outside for 20 minutes in summer I will be noticably lighter underneath my clothes. it worked ok, but seemed to take longer than I expected.

See I'm already tan so I want to get the darker tan parts lighter. Any solutions? I read a few posts about bleaching cream. Has that worked for anybody?

I know this is a bit old but try going to a dermatologist......
I used to have exsama (sp?) and spots and they get worse when I tan...so most of the time it kinda works when I exfoliate and then go tan also I used hydrocotizone 2% the hightest you can get w/ a Rx.

TigersMilk, do you mean eczema and hydroquinone 2%?

My arms are way darker than the rest of my body and very sundamaged--this is one of the reasons I can't get sleeves tattooed on my forearms. My tans usually fade no matter how dark I get, but for some reason my arms have always stayed darker, even after their tan has gone away. I just live with the darker arms, because though hydroquinone 2% works well, it's ideal for use on smaller areas of discoloration. But if you really want to use it, try Palmer's Fade Milk in a large bottle or use a gel. You will need something that will spread smoothly and evenly. I used a bleaching cream a long time ago for some zit scars I had on my face and it worked really, really well. They went away and never came back. I think I can still see the spot where I applied the cream, so you must be careful when using this stuff. You have to blend it in evenly and well, or else it will look splotchy. Also, you have to be diligent in it's use. Hydroquinone 4% is available by prescription.

I meant Hydrocortisone 2%.....its a topical steriod I used to use for my bad skin. I only get discolored in the summer and winter.
I had no idea they had Hydroquinone? Unfortunately I get light spots all over my face most people cant see it unless their staring but I can see them. Its like a inside out dalmation....errr. I deal with makeup but I use the cortisone for it when it gets real bad but it takes like up to 2 weeks to fully make my face all on color.

Ohhh, okay. Yes, they do have hydroquinone creams as well--this is the main ingredient in the bleaching creams.
