I do not usually approach younger guys because I have found them to spend little money, expect more, and be rowdy and rude. I myself am 19, but would much rather prefer to dance for an older guy with more money and a better idea of what he can expect to get at a strip club. Just my opinion.

The club I go to, there is a set fee for dances and **customer** set tip.
There is no such thing as a guy paying 10 bucks and another guy 30.

Where I go its 20 for a dance and 5 for a tip(of course the tip varies). Keep in mind its a 3 min song only.

But it all comes down to money.

Gabe....

Most clubs where I've danced or visited had "fixed rates" for dances. However, you hustle a young guy for a while, and then MAYBE if you're lucky, you get one dance from him for $20. Do that two or three times in an hour, and you're making $60 an hour IF YOU'RE LUCKY and $350-ish in a six-hour night. Tip out, etc., etc., etc. and you're down to $250 bucks on the evening. It beats McDonalds, but it ain't 'zactly worth the leg cramps and getting your boobs sanded by a dozen five-oclock-shadow stubbles.

On the OTHER hand, you talk with an older guy for a few minutes, next thing you know you're doing FIVE table dances for him or back in the VIP room for even more. Call it at LEAST a double for the evening's entertainment, plus often a few extra twenties just cuz they were burning a hole in his pocket. Plus he picks up your drinks.

You do the math, hun.....

Here is the club I go to, and what I observed.

There is a main stage. Two Poles. One at each end. There are 4 -5 strippers who come out at a time for a period of 10-12 minutes.
A total of about 25 strippers I would say in this place on the weekends.

Now when they do their "thing" and when they do something in front of you, you usually tip then 2 dollars or so. By the time they work the "runway" they have roughly 30 dollars if not more in a 15 min span.
You say they come out and perform about 15 -20 times a night thats.
The math turns out to be 600 dollars, thats if you work your time. Some are laxed and maybe spend half that time. So for arguments sake lets say 300 dollars.

Now thats just the stage. off the stage they can work for either dances or massages. Massages at the club I go to are 10 dollars for 5 minutes. Dances go for 20 dollars for 3 minutes.
Lets go with a younger guy, who isn't gonna dish out 500 dollars.

The younger guy buys 10 minutes worth of massages. Thats 20 dollars and usually tips 5 dollars so 25 dollars total.
After sitting up at the stage for most of the night, the younger guy prolly has enough money for 1-2 dances max. So for arguments sake, lets say he buys 1 dance. Thats 25 dollars total with tip.
Now say the stripper does this to 10 young guys a night.

The entire total comes out to be 800 dollars FOR JUST young guys +++ the stage work. I don't know the tip out, so I cannot comment on that.

800X 5 days a week = 4000 dollars a week.
In essence FOR JUST YOUNG GUYS its roughly 34 dollars an hour if you want to look at it that way.

There are people who work in sweat shops for 15 cents a day that work 100x harder then you or I ever will.

Im sorry If I come off negatively, but your either not working the system properly or working at a bad club.

Awkward? I find almost nothing awkward these days, I've seen it all. Young guys are ok, but I will not spend more than one song working them unless I need to take a break anyway and they want to buy me a redbull.

Sorry, just read this thread and want to add my two cents:

Gabe, just like some customers will not even glance at a particular type of dancer (blonde, tall, thin, whatever reason), so too will some dancers avoid certain types of customers (fat, young, smelly, bearded, etc.). It might not be fair, but it's her choice.

In general, I give everybody the same welcome to our club, I enjoy dancing for anybody that enjoys the dance I'm giving. And at 28, I dance for plenty of younger guys.

One last point, that I know is off-topic, but anyway:
I'm tired of customers not tipping because they think we make a fortune. The math in your previous earning scenario is wrong:

If your club has 20 dancers, and five go up at a time for a 15 minute set, that means they each get to go up once an hour. Assume a six hour shift, and each dancer is onstage six times. At your guesstimate of $30 per set (and that's 3-4x the average of stage tips at my club), that is $180, NOT $600, not even $300.

Yes, then you add in private dance money, I would say average $100-$200 per night (alot lower in the smaller clubs where the majority of us work) and you've got $280-380.

Sounds great doesn't it? Subtract around 30% for house fees, you're left with $126-196. Now subtract another 20% for taxes, you've got about $100-157. A decent wage for someone who works 5 days a week maybe. But plenty of dancers are supporting themselves on 3-4 days a week. At my club we are scheduled a Maximum of 4 shifts per week.

So no, it's not awkward to dance for younger men, but often we can't afford to spend the time finding the ones that want dances. You can make this easier by making your wishes known to the dancers you like - they will love you for it, and that leads to better treatment (ie. more fun!)

I agree totally Sherrill! I have found that I make much more money if I "work" older guys than younger. It is a very rare site for anyone who is younger than 30-35 to have more than $50 in their pocket at MY club. This will be different form club to club. But here, the young guys are who us "vets" send the noobs to when they bug us too much.

I agree, it is very rare to see a girl go up that many times in a night. I usually have about 20 girls I work with a shift and I usually only go up about 3 times a night, maybe 4 if I am lucky. And of that 3-4 times, I usually have a partner who I go onstage with, and that means I have to share the tips with her, 50/50. Even if she didn't recieve any tips herself, I still have to share. Not all of the tips mind you, just the $1 tips. Anything over that tipped to me I keep.

With that in mind, I keep only about $15-$20 per stage show. When you times that by the stage shows you get $20 x 4 = $80. Much, much less than your $600.

Now add in the fact that must of the younger guys I ask, say no for private dances. "That's too much", or "Why would I do that?", or "I could get my GF to so that for free"....... I am not generally of the body build that typically attracts younger males.

While on the other hand, I an generally the exact body type to attract older males. *(see avatar)*

So in a nutshell, I usually avoid the younger males, I still say hi to them and joke around a bit, but I try to "hustle" older customers more than younger ones. I generally have more fun and a better convo with an older gentleman.

My favorite lil regular is about 23-24. He has plenty of money to spend on me, buys me all the redbull I want, and tips. He is not the norm though. I am going to call him now to come spend money on me tonight.......

Hell no! In fact I prefer dancing for the younguns because they tend to be much nicer to dance for. I'd always prefer to laphop with the younguns for the same or more money than get stuck with some old dude expecting way too much. It seems like once a guy hits 35 he turns into a mongrel in the SC. My faves have always been under 25 or so.

Hi B,

You must have the exceptional children at your club...most youngens think spending $50 bucks at a club makes them a player .

Young guys expect you to date them...old guys just expect good ROI in the club. You pick which is better.

35 is very young. I'd say 40 minimum to qualify as an old fucker with all the privileges age brings 25 is robbing the cradle but we wont go there LOL

Just teasing Id say you are in the minority if you are making bank off the young studmuffins.

Once again I have embraced my addiction and have put off the moral dilemma to another day.

Younger guys from my experience will not and do not want to go into the VIP rooms. They also have this I can get it for free elsewhere attitude that drives me nuts. Like FBR noted the younger guys expect you to date them while the older guys just want you for that moment in time. The younger guys do feel like they are balling when they spend $100 which most of us girls know is nothing. I've never in a night made bank off of the young guys because they are not spending like the older guys.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

I guess I fall into that category then. I spend roughly 200 dollars a night, I usually go once or twice a week tops. I never been in the VIP room, but I will very very soon. Its true, and im gonna be honest, the young guys tend to want a relationship more then a heat of the moment type of deal. But I don't expect it. I guess its a bit harder for me cause the club I go to there are a lot of younger girls dancing. But, I go to have some fun, I don't expect anything out of it.

That's bullshit papa! Old men expect conversation and mileage. They are not new in the game and know the SS much better. They tend to come in earlier and monopolize more time. Often, you get a great whale of an oldtimer who can be your income for the night, but that customer base is decreasing.......

I am young looking, and have the look the youngsters want, firm body and long blonde hair, slutty party girl personality, ability to put them in their place without batting an eye, etc......

Sometimes they will mess with me, but often they are ready to lap quickly, are easy to talk to because we are the same generation, and are pretty happy with the mileage I give them because they are more afraid of the bouncers or looking stupid in front of their friends if they get booted.....

I've been making mad bucks off of young guys, couples, women, etc.......

There just aren't enough geezers to go around. On a busy weekend night, at least 60% of the clientele are under 30 at all of the last few clubs I've worked. That's a lot of beaver bucks!

i LOVE dancing for young guys. I always have the most fun/enjoy myself more with these customers, I'm 19 so I feel more comfortable w/ my own age. I see alot of comments about younger guys never spend money, but I personally haven't seen this.

In my experience young guys are sweeter, and offensive behavior towards dancers usually is unintentional, becuase they're new to strip clubs and don't know any better. All the intentional rudeness or meanness I've seen comes from an older guy, with the attitude of "been there done that" and is more hardened/bitter--MOST older guys are NOT assholes, but all the assholes I've personally come across were in the 30+ age group.

Gabe, lets look at what's wrong with your example here.

Correct me if I'm wrong (or just misinterpreted something) but based on your math, if there is a staff of roughly 25, and they work on stage 4-5 a time for 10-12 minutes each, that should translate to roughly one stage set per hour. Then you said (boldface emphasis by me):

You say they come out and perform about 15 -20 times a night thats. The math turns out to be 600 dollars, thats if you work your time. Some are laxed and maybe spend half that time. So for arguments sake lets say 300 dollars.
That would mean an impossibly long 15-20 hour shift. Mind you that you're also describing a weekend night, by comparison a Tuesday isn't going to bring that same kind of crowd.

Any gal here averaging $800 a night in NJ juice bars (or anywhere for that matter) care to corroberate this?

800X 5 days a week = 4000 dollars a week.
In essence FOR JUST YOUNG GUYS its roughly 34 dollars an hour if you want to look at it that way.
I know of very few dancers who consistently work five days a week. Come to think of it, I don't know any.

There are people who work in sweat shops for 15 cents a day that work 100x harder then you or I ever will.

Im sorry If I come off negatively, but your either not working the system properly or working at a bad club.
Or perhaps you need to go to some other clubs around the country and find out that the system you see in place at your club, isn't how it works everywhere. There are also differences in regional economics that you're not taking into consideration. May I also point out that you went to a juice bar. Things tend to work a bit differently in clubs where alcohol is served.

In many places, a common stage tip is $1, not $2, there are no massages, and there are tables aplenty, so the stage seats sit empty for the most part. Its not uncommon around here to see gals go onstage, dance three songs and get not a single buck for her efforts. If a gal around here makes $250 a shift after tipout, she's had one hell of a night. $800 is dreamland.

As far as your suggestion that younger guys get discriminated against, well you're absolutely correct. Discrimination in customer treatment is abound at strip clubs. You could also be undeservedly ignored at clubs for any of the following:

- Not being white
- Wearing blue collar attire
- Being female
- Going to the clubs with friends, as opposed to going alone
- Being physically unattractive
- Drinking a non-alcoholic drink at an alcohol club
- Being a new or out of town customer

Its happened to all of us at one time or another. The good news is that once you start spending a little green, things like your age, race, attire, drink choice, who you're with or where you're from generally don't seem to matter anymore, or at least they shouldn't to an entertainer who has her eyes on the prize.

If you feel a particular dancer thinks she's too good for your money, you're entirely in the right not to spend any on her, so don't. That's the only way someone like that is going to learn not to judge by appearances.

While maybe not exactly 15, I would bet at least 10 times or more. Not ALL 25 girls are waiting to get on stage. Some are doing more things to get more money. IE, Dances, VIP and back rubs. Obviously if they are doing dances, they cannot be up on the stage at the same time, not like they care cause they are getting more money at that moment in time.

What you failed to realize was this was in a reply of someone saying they barely received 300 dollars a night. For a 30 min VIP session its 200 dollars minus tip. Obviously she doesn't walk with all 200, but you get my point.

No one dancer will EVER make the same as the next unless they get a set wage, which i never heard before. One club down the block can make 2x more then the other one. It all depends, and no one can exactly tell anyone how much somones walks out with a night.

I apologize if my numbers were too steep, I was truly just estimating.

VIP usually depends on the club and if there is a fixed price or if the club allows the girl to decide on the price and time. I work weekend nights and work about 8/9pm-2/2:30am I go up on stage probably less than 10 times maybe more around 4-5 if it's a moderately busy night. If it's super busy and I have regulars waiting fuck it I won't waste my time to go up on stage and dance when I could be in the VIP room. That's another thing about younger guys that I've noticed not too many younger guys around 23 or younger become regulars. Im in Southern California LA area and there are no massages here and if you do come by them it's considered an extra there are only couch, table, air lap dances, and some places the theme room/bed dances. There are dancers that discriminate on whatever if you have a beard, too young, too old, too fat, too smelly, or whatever. But whatever that's their decision why would you even worry or care about a dancer that doesn't want to dance for you based on her fked up outlook of other people. If I were you I'd gladly spend money elsewhere

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.
