Default Ok gonna try again is this one offensive to the rednecks??

Creative tipping suggestions from the dj booth...

"Remember gentlemen,Tipping isnt just something rednecks do in a field full off cows, its how we show some love for these hefers!Unass your saddles, pull your wallets out of your back pocket by the chain, mosey on up and toss yer brand on um.please remember gentlemen, when getting a lapdance, please remove your spurs".

It beats the hell outta "tipping isnt just a city in china"But if you were a redneck, would this offend you??

I don't think a redneck would get offended but are you really going to refer to your dancers as "hefers"? Thems fightin' words Bubba!

You're best bet is just to stick to announcing the dancers name with a single word complimentary term.

Things like Lovely Lena are by far the best. If you want to encourage more tipping a simple reminder that the dancers earn their incomes from tips and tips alone should do. Pretty much anything else is just annoying or obnoxious to alot of dancers and customers.

The top clubs have something in common when it comes to DJ's. Their DJ's don't say much of anything at all.

Hefers! Oh wow, no way. Insult the customers all you want if they're not tipping, but be careful what you say about the girls, or you'll be a very broke DJ.

Even if you say ladies, it's still silly. No one listens that long. Yes, I'm a DJ. I say the exact same thing over and over. I could record it and put it on the computer and no one would notice.

"Alright guys, how about a nice warm round of sound for the Seductive Skyler! We're going to bring Skyler down tableside now, where she'll be available for topless tableside or VIP lap dances...Now, I'd like you to welcome up next to the center stage, we have the Divine Vega!"

As long as you compliment the girls, give them good music, and tell them where to go when, the rest is superfluous, and usually not as amusing as it sounds in your head. So just do 5 MORE shots, and don't think about it too much

Some guys tip, others just want a free show. Im not sure what else a DJ can do other than introduce the dancers nicely as Paige mentioned and play good music. The rest is up to the SC gods.

Actually HEFERS *(heifers) is a compliment since a heifer is a young VIRGINAL cow who is in her prime as fantasy material for the Old Steers (Bull minus balls) in the feedlot.

As for non tippers at the rail I ALWAYS focus on them with lines like "Loan that guy a dollar" and "If you want this show for free guys you need to MARRY her .... shes accepting proposals in the VIP room after this set"

I like it when the DJ calls me something spontanious, I was once Sinful Sindy and that always cracked me up.... Didn't like the "Marsha Marsha Marsh," though....
I also went to a popular college so it was kind of neat when the DJ referred to that. I like to feel like I am special as I get on stage so random little things (that hopefully the client's are listening to,) really get me in the mood.... Or even a "and this song's for you." Is nice.
Right now I have DJs that ask me what I want to dance to with very little limitations or sass back, a far cry from some DJs that just seem to hate their job and most of the dancers...
Also, jokes are jokes, if they are offensive I guess they shouldn't be told, but as long as they aren't super vulgar or full of profanity I don't mind them at all... Hey, it's better than a DJ that says the same thing over and over and says it so fast that I never know when I am onstage because I didn't hear my name.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

Are you nuts!? How can you possibly even consider refering to the dancers as hefers!>? Even jokingly it is not funny....

Yeah I want to be a fly on the wall as you try to use this explaination back in the dressing room while trying to calm down a dancer who's about to go postal on you.

Too long. Nobody's listening anyways, we're just waiting for you to shut up so we can hear each other talk again.

If you need to say somethint to encourage tipping, talk slooowly. Do not yell into the mic, it makes you even harder to hear. Use a conversational tone and say something short like, "Okay, all the straight guys up to the stage... if your gay, you can stay where you are," or "gentlemen, the great thing about your drinks is they're completely wireless! Grab them and get on up to the stage to see this lovely lady."

Here here to that!

Turning the volume down about thirty decibels would be a nice touch too.

Ok, M&M I am a Redneck and I think it's funny as hell!!!!!!!!! I can understand that some might get offended but I wouldn't.

That kind of annoucement would get the guys laughing and tipping better around here. If the guys are happy and in a good mood, they will spend more.

There are people who do get offended though. People distinctly remember the asshole DJs who berate and belittle the customers, and customers fight back by not buying anything. I've heard people talk about "that fuckwad DJ" at the next table , and I have to admit hating him a little myself.

I find most guys don't listen to anything the DJ has to say, and if anything, MOST guys just wish the DJ would "shut up and play the song".

If I had a nickel for every time I've heard a customer say "I wish he'd just shut up and play the song" I'd be retired by now.

Keep the schpiels short and simple please.

Man, I think you'd better hire a new writer. Actually, I think you'd better do a bit more than that - referring to the girls as - or suggesting them alongside - animals is crass, and degrading.

It isn't comedy, it's not witty, and even outdated and sexist "comedy" from the 70's is better than this.

As you can see from the girls posting above, not many find it amusing or appropriate.

Sorry. I just thought this deserved a repeat. Nothing like a DJ screaming over the mic while you're trying to explain to the guy who asked about the champagne room to kill the mood.
