What is this job like? I am a serious night person, some waitressing experience, but I need to make more $$ than what tips you make at the avg. steakhouse.
Thanks!

Like most things, it depends....
on the club
the location
the shift
the night
the time of year
the type of customers the club draws
the management
etc., etc., etc.
----------------------------------------------
My best advice would be to simply go check out a few clubs in your area during those shifts you might consider working. Get a feel for the place, their policies, their customers, and the money you can make.
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.
Thanks! There are 3 different ads in the paper this week, so some of those I know.
BTW - here's an old SC joke....
What's the difference between a SC waitress and a SC dancer?
About 3 weeks.![]()

LOL! If I could dance and the legs I would![]()
I dance most of the week and cocktail waitress at my club 2 to 3 nights a week. I make great cash because I am serving people I usually dance for. It works out great! Best of luck to you!![]()

It's alot of fun!! Before I started dancing I was a cocktail waitress at the club and there are several nights I made as much if not more than the other dancers. With this job though, you need to really be able to flirt your ass off, talk, charm, swish and help out the dancers. If there is a big spender, let the girls know and at the end of the night you will get a big tip from them as well.
I would really want to be a cocktail waitress but there probably all taken since most of the girls rather serve than dance...Originally Posted by Aleah link=board=25;threadid=13681;start=msg183571#msg18 3571 date=1096401416
how do you go about in asking that? does every club have a waitress?

this simply wont do hippo.
You need to be on stage.
In some areas of the country, that young lady behind the cowboy hat is worth a kewl quarter million a year, cash, probably more.

I'm actually quite nervous about being onstage, i have a bigger time trying to get my booty to ask for an audition.. lol.
waitress just seems more easy... but probably all taken.. thats what i meant![]()
Depends on where you are and how much effort you're willing to put into it. In Houston, the best waitresses are like air-traffic controllers - they know who does what, etc. - and often make more than the dancers 'cause the guys know $20 to the waitress = whatever you're looking for. From what I'm seeing in here though, doesn't look like it works that way elsewhere.
