There's a book called Lapdancer by Juliana Beasley. (There's reviews of it on amazon.) It's written by a previous dancer and has some of her experiences, pictures and interviews with other dancers, customers, and a bouncer. I thought it was a good book because reading it you're less likely to go into dancing very naive. (A couple times the author mentions how much she made a night but she danced in the 90s when dancers made a bit more.) People on stripperweb also gave the advice that if a customer starts going beyond the boundaries of the club and tries to take advantage of you to speak up for yourself. Read more of this website too- you can learn so much about dancing here.

Pull up a chair and let your mouse do the walking.

There's tons of information here scattered throughout the various message boards.

After browsing for a little while, feel free to ask any specific questions you may have which are still unanswered.

If you're looking for tips on dancing you can try this book....

Here's a link to her site....

It's marketed as a workout book so you can find it at a bookstore under general health & fitness. The book covers streching, floor work, pole work and some other topics as well.

You've come to the right place for sure. You can see all sides of what it's like to strip and see the glamour/non glamour part as well. It can be alot of fun and if you do it right you'll make out like a bandit. It can also be super tuff on you (body and soul) so be prepared and don't take it lightly.
