    Default period

Do you dance even if you have your period? At the club I worked at the girls told me to wear a tampon and cut the string. Sometimes I feel too shitty to dance tho

I normally take first 2 days off as i'm always bloated, feeling crappy and prone to major mood swings.

Known lots and lots of girls that dance through their period. Call me crazy but it's like you release and excess of a sexual pheramone that causes more of an attraction which in turn can make you more money. I believe it only because i've seen it. I always feel the most sexual and somewhat invincable durning my period. Can't say the cramps are still a bitch, but it's all about what you feel the most comfortable doing.

Some work, some do not. Depends on how 'strict' the club is about that type of thing as well as what you feel comfortable with doing yourself.

Personally, I work right thru my period. Then again, I'm on Depo so I don't really 'get' my period in the natural sense.. yet I still 'get' it in other ways. Even if I did, it would depend on me... do I have an 'easy' period.. if so.. why not wear a tampon, cut the string ? If not, I would ask for some time off.

It all depends on the individual.

What ever happend to a product called "instead". I used to use those so I wouldn't have to wear tampons. They were great because there was no string and my doctor said they were way safer to use then tampons. I guess they went out of business or something.... sigh. I take low hormone birth control pills and they really help with my cramps etc...

I use Instead (mainly for sex), and the Keeper at work. They look big, but they're really not that bad!

It's true about working on your period and I don't know what it is. Be sure to cut the string for sure and I wear darker thongs just in case. Seen many accidents with light thongs on stage. It's so weird how customers gravitate when I'm OTR. Even my husband which drives me bananas because it's a friggin' tease. Can't do a damn thing about it at that point. Maybe because our boobies swell and we do get little tummies some guys like that. They think it's really feminine.

I would agree that it depends on how you feel. I don't get cramps or anything, but the first two days can be quite heavy. I don't feel comfortable dancing when it's really heavy but that's me.
