    Default Resizing pictures

    Hi all !
I just cant figure out how to resize my picture ! I used Microsoft photo editor and press the Image icon and then resize ! I put my picture at 50% and then I save it. When I try to post it it's still as big as it was with the normal picture ? Does anybody knows how it works and can help me understand it ???

    Thanx

It may also be that you're looking at a really HUGE picture which is already being displayed at 75% or 50% in your photo editor.
Then when you resize you end up with the same thing you were looking at. (Does that make sense?)

Make sure your view is set to 100% before resizing to help avoid any confusion.

    Hope that helps.

Feel free to let us know if it's still not working.

I think i'm gonna give up !! I tried and it didn't work ! It looks exactly like the screen you showed me the zoom is 100% and I resized it as low as 15% and when i try posting it it's still as big as the original one ! ???

Go here....and download the program "image resizer" (its on the right list of programs)
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

try this for a direct link for the download
    http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

This is great...and very easy to use. Once installed all you have to do is right click on a picture file...pick the resize picture option and then pick a size(small, med, large, xlarge) and hit ok....it will create a new smaller picture file in the same directory.

Hey Crystal - for sake of curiosity - after resizing, save the image as a new file...then open both of the files in your browser and see if you can see a size difference.
