    Default waitresses in the VIP

How do you ladies feel about waitresses, bartenders and shot girls doing champagne rooms?

On one hand, I think it's unfair since they don't pay house fees and don't have to tip out like we do, but they have the same opportunities we do to make the money.

But on the other hand, I think they work just as hard as the dancers and if they find a guy who wants to do it, why not?

Yeah, they should have to pay something, for sure. It's isn't fair otherwise.

I think if they're gonna dance, they should DANCE and pay the damn fees. If they're gonna cocktail or tend bar, they should stick to slinging drinks. I don't begrudge them making money, but if they're gonna be given the same opportunities to make money that we have, they ought to have to pay the same prices we do.

It used to piss me off to no end seeing 6 waitresses on a shift at the club I worked in AZ, and always at least 2 of them were spending half their time (or more) giving dances and charging WAY more for it. They weren't waitresses, they were just dancers carrying a damn tray! So they made dancer money but didn't have to buy all the costumes or pay all the fees, OR walk around in 8" heels, OR deal with the asshole DJ, OR go on stage....

I don't think waitresses should try to sell rooms, but it does happen that customers want to do a room with the waitress and in those (rare) cases it's fine. They shouldn't do lapdances or dances out on the floor tho.

Oh yeah, to say nothing of the fact that every time a waitress does a dance or room with a customer, she's directly taking money that SHOULD have gone to a dancer, the dancers who pay the prices for the opportunities to make that money. No, I don't agree with it at all. Do one or the other. Period.

i've never seen this happen! When I waitressed we also had to pay a fee to work I believe, like $15! Some girls who couldn't hustle would leave with less money than they came in with!

The worst I remember doing is flashing a boob when the customer who wanted a "challenge" would offer me a 20-piece for it. That seems pretty common.

Yes, if the waitress is doing a flat fee VIP, and is getting that $150 for 30 mins, she SHOULD tip out!

Here in Tx, the VIP time is negotiated between dancer and customer, so I don't know what she's getting unless she is charging him for time ???

If you're gonna act like a dancer, then you pay like a dancer. I think that if the house required the waitresses that do that to pay the full house fee plus the mandatory tip-outs to the VIP hosts...the waitresses would probably back down a bit.

It's completely against the rules at my club to do this. If a waitress gets approached by a customer, she can turn him flat down or point him to another dancer...but she can never go to VIP for herself.

Funny...I thought it was like that everywhere...hmmmm.

I hate most of the watress at my club they can dress how they want to dress and we have these two trasy girls that go around with there thongs hanging out of there jeans and flirt with all the custmers. I think they need to relize that they are NOT dancers and to stick with what they do serve drinks. If you dance get on some heels and join the team.

I'm getting fed up with our night shift waitress as well. We have a minumum of 8 drinks a night but it's been soo slow for us girls during the week that its hard to sell even half of that. Were supposed to be charged for drinks we don't sell but even the managers understand that its a tough time right now so they back off about it. But the waitress is always on my ass to sell the damn 5 dollar water or whatever and give her Her tip from Me when I can barely sell a dance to the customer. Its soo slow during the week and I think she needs to understand that if we the dancers make bad money = she makes bad money. Grrrrr

If there are enough bartenders at old club [no waitresses] they could do dances and pay the fees per dance [1/2].
New club I haven't seen any of the waitresses or bar staff do dances, though it has annoyed a few dancers when the waitresses start 'hanging out' with the customers and don't let dancers approach.
I dunno, even if waitresses had to pay the full amount for tip-outs and such [say waitresses pay $15 to work, if she does 'dancer duties' she has to pay the dancer housefee + staff tip-out + dance cut], then they would be trying to sell more dances. All in all, I think is a bad idea.

One thing I can't stand is when I'm giving a lap dance and the waitress comes back, interuptts (sic) the dance, just to say "wanna another drink"... Then on the other side when your in a half hour room and your waiting to the waitress to come back and see if you need anything they never do...
